[player_tooltip player_id='177140' first='Nick' last='Lakhdari'] is a prospect that I followed closely on the Panthers. He is a notable playmaker for them and will do whatever his team needs to help them win. He routinely ran right by attackmen trying to dislodge the ball from him, and once he hit top speed, he became a legitimate scoring threat, putting up more than a few transition goals for Palo Verde. He also made smart decisions with the rock when it was time to slow things down and allow his team to sub.

State champion [player_tooltip player_id='176504' first='Jace' last='Mims'] was named to the First Team, and I have to imagine that he was a fairly easy selection. He played with a scrappy and competitive edge all season long for the Panthers. He is quite athletic and uses his feel for the game to lock down his matchup defensively. He was also valuable in transition and during clears, and overall, his impact on the team was significant.

[player_tooltip player_id='176506' first='Merek' last='Mastrov'] took home First Team All-LVLA honors after wreaking havoc all year for the Bishop Gorman Gaels. He was relentless with his checks and landed more than a few big ones each game, which consistently created offensive opportunities for his team. He was also a long pole who stayed on the field after possessions changed, and he showcased some impressive offensive ability with several snipes for the Gaels this season. While I do not have his exact stats in front of me, I am fairly confident that he finished with at least 10 goals over the course of the year, including multiple games where he scored two or three times. Mastrov is graduating and will be taking his talents to SMU next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='177084' first='Jett' last='Piercy'] was named First Team Goalie after playing a vital role for the Crusaders and helping them pick up some big-time wins this season. He has real mobility in the cage and does an excellent job of eating up low bouncers while also stopping high heat. I also liked the way that he stayed poised in net, which helped keep his defense under control in pressure situations. In addition to his shot-stopping ability, he is the type of goalie who can throw it on a rope to streaking LSMs or middies to ignite transition opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='176510' first='DJ' last='Rogers'] made his presence felt throughout the year for the Cougars. He was a very reliable defender for them and constantly pressured his matchup with his physicality and stick checks. He was also disruptive in passing lanes and used his legs at times to escape ground-ball scrums. Rogers is a rising 2028 who will look to pick up college interest this summer, so keep an eye on him moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='177608' first='Daniel' last='Auon'] converted to defense for the high school season to help out his team, and he did an incredible job. It was evident that he had real instincts out there, and he utilized his IQ and athleticism to cause turnovers on a regular basis. He also made his man work consistently to gain ground. In addition to his top-notch defensive skills, he made himself available during clearing attempts and often dished out precise passes to his middies and attackmen to help advance the ball upfield.
