He was a very reliable defender for them and constantly pressured his matchup with his physicality and stick checks. He was also disruptive in passing lanes and used his legs at times to escape ground-ball scrums. Rogers is a rising 2028 who will look to pick up college interest this summer, so keep an eye on him moving forward.

DJ Rogers DJ Rogers 5'10" | D | Right Hand Coronado | 2028 NV had a few highlight-reel-worthy plays in the Cougars’ close loss. He didn’t give opponents much room to operate, and he utilized his strength to fully dislodge his matchup’s stick on one of his checks. He also fought hard for loose ground balls and hit his middies when the Cougars were clearing. Expect him to be a West Coast defender/LSM with a chance to turn heads this summer, especially with the physicality and energy he brings on the defensive end.

DJ Rogers DJ Rogers 5'10" | D | Right Hand Coronado | 2028 NV has been steady for the Cougars on defense. He doesn’t give his matchup much breathing room and delivers deft checks to cause turnovers. He also gets physical in scrums and will body opponents who try to get a shot off in the middle. Overall, he’s consistent and can be counted on to do the dirty work.
