This Brown University commit came flying out of the starting gates for 2026 as Carberry posted 4 goals and 4 assists in SCHA's season opening win at Westtown School. He followed up that impressive effort by pouring in an incredible six goals against St. Mary's (MD). Carberry sniped from long distance in both games this past week. His quick release and accurate shot enabled Carberry to consistently score from 15-20 yards out. Carberry also excelled at executing hitch moves to get the initial defender off balance and then blowing past him for a goal on the run. His quick burst and ability to charge through contact allowed Carberry to initiate from X to create scoring opportunities for himself and teammates.

Dumais is a highly touted freshman, and his play during Hill's season opener at St. Mary's in Maryland did not disappoint. Dumais posted 1 goal and 2 assists in Hill's 11-7 win over the Crusaders. His goal came via a smooth off-ball sweep from X to the post where caught a pass, threw a stick fake, and then deposited a lefty overhand into the net. Dumais also had a beautiful assist where he carried the ball from midfield to X and then dodged up the hash. As he crossed GLE, Dumais dropped a beautiful dime on a teammate who had cut through the middle of the SPS defense. His polished stick skills and attacking style were on display all afternoon versus SPS. When the ball swung to him, Dumais did not hesitate to initiate in an effort to create offense for Hill. The upside on this freshman is off the charts.

Last season Lucovich was an offensive force for Malvern Prep (39 G & 38 A), and it appears that trend is going to continue here in 2026. Lucovich (Penn State commit) registered 3 goals for Malvern this past week as he helped the Friars win both their games. Lucovich is one of the best off-ball players in the state and that skill set was on full display again in MP's wins over Boys Latin (MD) and Loyola Blakefield (MD). Against Boys Latin, a well-timed cut to the back post by Lucovich sprung him open for a beautiful catch and dunk goal on the crease. Lucovich also cooked a few defenders with his quick burst as he dodged from the wing as well as from behind the net. His ability to shoot / pass with both hands was very evident in both game this past week too.

This past week, Ploszay was a standout between the pipes for a Malvern squad that assembled noteworthy wins over Maryland powerhouses Boys Latin (10-8) and Loyola Blakefield (8-5). Ploszay tracked shooters well and popped off his line swiftly. Those items combined with his active stick led to a high percentage of clean saves. The extremely agile Ploszay executed quick, but controlled drops that repeatedly stop low shots too. Against Loyola Blakefield, there were several possessions where Ploszay was required to turn back a flurry of shots. He remained poise in those situations and used every part of his body to keep the ball out of the net. Once the ball was in his stick, Ploszay executed precise clearing passes that triggered MP's transition game.

Westtown opened the 2026 season with games against top notch competition as they hosted Inter-Ac contender Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and Mount Saint Joseph out of Baltimore. The athletic and highly skilled Walker-Welch proved he could hold his own against that elite competition by tallying four goals and two assists across those contests. This past week Walker-Welch (Hampton commit) demonstrated that his long-distance shooting must be respected as he fired two rockets into the net from deep against SCHA. He also proved that he owned noteworthy speed and polished stick skills. That combination allowed Walker-Welch to score / distribute on the move while in transition as well as in 6v6 action. Against Mount Saint Joseph, Walker-Welch flexed his versatility as he played extended stretches at SSDM. On the defensive end, Walker-Welch showed that he could cover ball carriers tightly, snag GBs in traffic and be a plus player in the clearing game.
