Stock Rising Pennsylvania 2028s For This Fall

Below is a review of five prospects from Pennsylvania who we expect will increase their recruiting stock this fall by playing outstanding lacrosse during October and November.    Green is a multisport athlete (also standout in ice hockey) with speed, polished footwork, and a solid frame. On the lacrosse field that trifecta enables Green to pursue ball carriers on the perimeter for long stretches and then cause turnovers by taking the body. Green will also use heavy stick checks as well as crafty pokes and lifts to create turnovers. When the ball hits the turf, Green excels at snaring the GB in traffic and then dashing into open space. College coaches will also love Green's ability to disrupt passing / shooting lanes with his stick. Green is a plus team defender because of his high lacrosse IQ and communication skills. Those assets enable Green to easily navigate over or through screens too.     Stashed away in the Reading area of Berks County is this athletic, fleet footed and multi-skilled attackman. Kupper is comfortable operating from anywhere in the offensive end, but he creates serious matchup issues for opposing defenses when operating from the wing. His quick first step allows Kupper to blow past his initial defender with ease. Then his shifty change of direction moves carry Kupper past sliding defenders for scoring opportunities in close. He can also initiate from the wing, get to the middle of the field, stop on a dime, and then roll back to unleash a shot on net. When he operates from the wing, Kupper is an accurate stepdown shooter too. Kupper is the frequent recipient of double teams and early slides. In those situations, Kupper is quick to recognize that defensive tactic and will move the ball to an open teammate.       This athletic goal scoring machine tortures opposing defenders with his agility and ability to shoot or distribute with both hands. Murray's poise and deep bag of moves enables him to change directions multiple times during a run to the net until he can get his hands free for a rip. Murray is also a master at using his body to protect his stick as he navigates his way through the opposing defense. On the wing, Murray does a fantastic job of setting up his defender with a hitch move and then dipping underneath for a run at the net. Off the ball, Murray's timely cuts and movements often lead to clean looks. He is especially adept at starting from X and sweeping across the front of the cage for a catch and dunk.     What separates Petcock from the majority of 2028 face off specialists in Pennsylvania is his creativity. Petcock does a tremendous job of mixing in different techniques and exit strategies to keep his opponent off balance. For instance, Petcock has been known to win a clamp, then exit by flipping the ball over his shoulder so he can sprint into the offensive end and to grab it off one hop. Petock also excels at more traditional face off techniques. His clean pick and pops enable him to race down the field and create transition opportunities for his team. Petock's elusive stick maneuvers enable him to push the ball deep into the offensive end where he is a legitimate threat to crank a shot into the back of the net. This versatile FOGO also can perform defensive exits and then calmly distribute the ball to a pole of the goalie.     The first item that pops about Wayock is his lethal catch and fire skill set. Whether he is standing still or on the move, Wayock's polished stick skills, quick release and accurate shot enable him to receive a pass and then swiftly crank a shot into the back of the net. Wayock is capable of firing from multiple angles which keeps goalies guessing. He is effective at finishing via jump shots too. Wayock's off-ball cuts, drifts and pops often produce clean catch and shoot opportunities. When he initiates, Wayock will use a split dodge or stutter step to blow past his defender, get downhill and then shoot or distribute on the run. Wayock's speed and non-stop motor make him a plus player in the ride game.
