Wayock has been extraordinary during the first month of the 2026 season as he has found the back of the net 17 times and handed out 15 assists. This sophomore with a well-rounded game stuffed the stat book with three goals and three assists in a victory over Bethlehem Catholic and posted 2 goals to go along with a ridiculous 7 dimes in a win over Freedom. Two items really pop about Wayock’s polished offensive game. The first is his elite catch-and-shoot skills. Whether he is finishing in close as he completes an off-ball move or unleashing a crank from the perimeter, Wayock’s ability to get the ball out of his stick quickly and with precise placement is remarkable. The second item that jumps out right away with Wayock is his distribution skills. The trifecta of his field vision, touch, and timing produces creative dimes every time he takes the field. When Wayock is looking to get downhill, his nifty split dodges, stutter steps, and cut back moves allow him to separate from his initial defender.    

The first item that pops about Wayock is his lethal catch and fire skill set. Whether he is standing still or on the move, Wayock’s polished stick skills, quick release and accurate shot enable him to receive a pass and then swiftly crank a shot into the back of the net. Wayock is capable of firing from multiple angles which keeps goalies guessing. He is effective at finishing via jump shots too. Wayock’s off-ball cuts, drifts and pops often produce clean catch and shoot opportunities. When he initiates, Wayock will use a split dodge or stutter step to blow past his defender, get downhill and then shoot or distribute on the run. Wayock’s speed and non-stop motor make him a plus player in the ride game.
