Below is a review of available 2027s who impressed us during summer 2025. In fact, we were so impressed with the following prospects, that if we were running a college lacrosse program each of them would receive a scholarship offer today.

The two items that immediately pop about Adamson's skill set are his crafty off-ball movement and ability to finish around the crease. Adamson's well-timed sweeps, cuts and drifts enable him to find cracks in the opposing defense for clean looks. Once Adamson has received a pass in close, the trifecta of his patience, deep bag of fakes and filthy stick skills overwhelms opposing goalies. Adamson also excels in quick stick opportunities on the crease. Plus, he is a threat from GLE as he can fire shots from multiple angles. This elusive attack owns a quick first step and plenty of shake too. So, Adamson can initiate from the wing or behind the net and then shoot or feed on the run. His ability to sweep across the opposing defense from the wing, throw on the breaks and then roll back for a shot is impressive. College coaches will love the non-stop motor on Adamson which makes him a menace on the ride.

From NELS to Maverik Showtime to the club circuit, Benedict was repeatedly recognized as a top performer during summer 2025. Therefore, it should not be a surprise that he is being profiled in this post. Benedict is an athletic, high IQ and versatile pole. He can burn at LSM, where his speed and polished footwork keep him glued to a ball carrier's hip. Benedict's fantastic instincts tell him when to deliver a stick or body check that dislodges the rock. His elite ground ball skills are a game changer, especially on the face-off wing. After Benedict has secured possession, college coaches will love his feel for when to push the break versus when to roll back and throw an outlet pass. At close defense, Benedict can shut off the opponent's No. 1 option for an entire game. He is also extremely skilled at defending on-ball situations anywhere on the field. His anticipation skills and quick burst allow him to read dodges and swiftly beat the offensive player to the spot. Benedict has a knack for disrupting passing lanes with his stick, too.

After his incredible sophomore season at Jupiter, Druhot was named to the Florida 2A All-State Team. He was the only 2027 in the 2A classification to receive that distinguished honor. Druhot's speed, quick first step and ability to play with either hand make him a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. Druhot can work as an initiator from X as well as the wing. From those spots, his speed and shiftiness allow Druhot to blow past the initial defender for a run at the net. He is extremely effective at using inside rolls to separate from his defender. Poles often become so preoccupied with Druhot's drives to the cage that they forget about his elite shooting skills. Druhot's quick release and accuracy make him a threat to snipe from any distance or angle. Lastly, Druhot is a wizard at cutting behind defender's helmets and then using his filthy stick skills for creative finishes around the crease.

FitzGerald's speed, solid frame, and non-stop motor combine to create an on-ball menace of a SSDM. His incredible agility and quick reactions enable FitzGerald to remain tight to a ball carrier despite numerous changes of direction. FitzGerald will use forceful body checks and stick checks as well as crow bars to create turnovers. Once the ball is on the ground, FitzGerald is quick to pounce and secure possession. As a team defender, he is extremely dependable. His slides, double teams and recoveries are always on point. FitzGerald's constant communication with teammates enables him to get over and through screens with ease. Plus, Fitzgerald has a habit of knifing through passing lanes for steals. College coaches will also be intrigued with how poised FitzGerald remains when opposing teams attempt to put him on an island.

Kinnard is an athletic midfielder who is a dual threat when he dodges. He can initiate from up top or the wing, get downhill and then rip a shot into the back of the net while on the move. Kinnard can also attack the defense, draw the slide, and then distribute to an open teammate. Kinnard is a poised feeder who will throttle down his dodge and absorb significant contact while he patiently waits for a teammate to come free. His timely and accurate passes enable teammates to quickly catch and finish. From the perimeter, Kinnard is a threat to fire a missile top shelf or unleash a deceptive bouncer. Kinnard has also shown that he can come out of the box, receive a clearing pass, and then push the fast break for a scoring opportunity. This junior has flashed the ability to run at SSDM, too.
