I first saw Adamson this time last year at the Best in Class event, and he’s only gotten better since. Georgetown Prep leaned into what he does best—operating on the crease—and it has paid off this season. Adamson finished with six goals and an assist in the IAC Championship, doing most of his damage on the inside. Every goal he had was off the ride or timing cuts inside. He has silky mitts around the crease, able to handle tough feeds through contact, and gets the ball out of his stick quickly, giving goalies little time to react. Adamson probably foams at the mouth when he sees slides go. When he times that cut, it is extremely hard for two slides to follow. The Brown commit also made an impact on the ride, applying pressure, turning ball carriers, jumping on loose balls, and being a “cherry picker” when the ball is coming back his way.
Adamson was a key piece of Prep’s offense this season, and with major contributors like

graduating, he’ll be counted on to lead a veteran group. Continued development as a dodger and ball carrier will be the next step, and his summer playing box north of the border should help that out.

The two items that immediately pop about Adamson’s skill set are his crafty off-ball movement and ability to finish around the crease. Adamson’s well-timed sweeps, cuts and drifts enable him to find cracks in the opposing defense for clean looks. Once Adamson has received a pass in close, the trifecta of his patience, deep bag of fakes and filthy stick skills overwhelms opposing goalies. Adamson also excels in quick stick opportunities on the crease. Plus, he is a threat from GLE as he can fire shots from multiple angles. This elusive attackman owns a quick first step and plenty of shake, too. So, Adamson can initiate from the wing or behind the net and then shoot or feed on the run. His ability to sweep across the opposing defense from the wing, throw on the breaks and then roll back for a shot is impressive. College coaches will love the non-stop motor on Adamson, which makes him a menace on the ride.

, a 6-foot attackman from Wisconsin who plays his high school ball at Georgetown Prep, delivered in a big moment with a key goal in the Naptown National Championship. He is a poised and athletic attackman who thrives as the leader of an offense, directing play and creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. He’s effective initiating from multiple spots on the field, but is especially impactful operating from X or the high righty wing, where his footwork and change of direction allow him to keep defenders guessing. He plays with a relentless, attack-first mentality that forces defenses to stay alert at all times, challenging both his matchup and the sliding unit behind it. As he continues to gain reps at a high level for Prep, his game is expected to become even more refined, developing his off-hand, improving his vision, and accelerating his processing speed. Adamson is a name to watch moving forward.
