Class A

#1 Massapequa vs #4 Syosset
#2 Farmingdale vs #3 Port Washington

Massapequa – After having a very young team in 2024, Massapequa brought back a ton of talent, and the Chiefs have delivered. 'Pequa earned the No. 1 seed due to a great combination of youth and experience. The sophomore duo of [player_tooltip player_id='123947' first='Rocco' last='Spallina'] and [player_tooltip player_id='123838' first='Nolan' last='Wieczorek'] has been great this season. Spallina has been one of the county's top finishers with 47 goals, while Wieczorek has put up 30 goals and 35 assists. Junior Tyler Byrnes (UMass) has also added 46 points on the season. Senior midfielders Joey Diesso (Adelphi) and Matthew Pettis (Albany) have been great on both sides of the field, while goaltender Michael Jannotee (Stevens) is one of the top goalies in the county.

Syosset – The Braves captured a big win over Oceanside in the quarterfinals, stringing together a series of goals after trailing 2-1 and didn't look back. Gio Accardo and [player_tooltip player_id='21894' first='Brody' last='Waxer'] both had five points in that game. [player_tooltip player_id='21894' first='Brody' last='Waxer'] (Michigan) has been on varsity since eighth grade, but this has been his best season with 36 goals and 33 assists. Nick Turner (Geneseo) has also contributed 25 goals on the season. Defensively, Syosset has some talented veterans leading the way. [player_tooltip player_id='126195' first='William' last='Cawley'] (Lehigh) and Evan Ostranger have been impactful players since their freshman year. Goalie [player_tooltip player_id='126887' first='Josh' last='Weisenfeld'] (LIU) has made a big leap from his sophomore year and made 16 saves against Massapequa in their regular-season meeting.

Farmingdale – The defending champs are back. Farmingdale has won four of its last five games without allowing any team to reach double-digit goals in that stretch. Mike Galgano (UMass) and [player_tooltip player_id='126199' first='Matt' last='Ippoliti'] (LIU) create a tough duo that's accompanied by [player_tooltip player_id='30789' first='Jake' last='Mangio'] (Bryant), who had a monster postseason in 2024 as a shortstick defensive midfielder. FOGO J.J. Damo (LIU) will be an X-factor for the Dalers in this playoff run; he's won 65% of his faceoffs. [player_tooltip player_id='32143' first='Dean' last='Kott'] has been the leader on offense with 62 points. He's joined by football star [player_tooltip player_id='30787' first='Josh' last='Kama'], who has scored 26 times, and Sean Schumeyer, who has collected 30 goals this season.

Port Washington – The Vikings have truly had a bounce-back season in 2025. They've collected numerous wins against teams in Nassau and Suffolk that are still playing after Memorial Day weekend. Part of this resurgence has been their excellent defense. Senior Harrison Behan (Loyola) has anchored the back end. He's joined by dynamic sophomore Gavin Neville, who will have schools excited once September 1 rolls around. Goaltender Max Enyon is already a veteran, despite being just a sophomore — he has 167 saves and a 71% save percentage. [player_tooltip player_id='126937' first='Tommy' last='McCarvill'] (Maritime) leads the offense with 62 points. Harry Enyon, another sophomore, is having a breakout year with 39 goals, and senior Brendan Lang (Muhlenberg) will be counted on in the postseason.

Class B

#1 Garden City vs #5 Calhoun
#2 Manhasset vs #3 Carey

Garden City – The Trojans are the top seed in Class B and have built arguably the most impressive résumé in Nassau County. Garden City sits at 15–2. [player_tooltip player_id='127342' first='Luke' last='Cascadden'] (Navy) has been excellent at the faceoff X, winning over 78%. His brother Blake (Cornell) has made plays all over the field on offense and defense. The Trojans are always well-coached, especially defensively, and that has been evident all year. On offense, junior [player_tooltip player_id='82287' first='Charlie' last='Koester'] has been their go-to guy with 50 goals on the season. Garden City's young guns have played a large role in their success — freshman [player_tooltip player_id='126883' first='Ben' last='Smith'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='123459' first='Anthony' last='Asaro'] have put themselves on the map this season.

Calhoun – The Colts are returning to Hofstra after taking down Roslyn in the quarterfinals. Senior Harley Finkelstein (Cortland) is the leader of this crew, having delivered a huge four-goal, four-assist performance in the quarterfinals. Junior Nick Voll collected five points, while sophomore Michael Nicholson was a game changer at the face-off X, going 19/22, which led to some transition goals late. Against Garden City, the Colts will look to their seniors, like Braden Garvey (Saint Leo), who has 31 points, and Ryan Burr, who has 18 goals on the year, to guide them in the big moment.

Carey – The Seahawks have put together a strong 2025, and their senior class has delivered all season long. Chris Obertis (Manhattan) leads the way for Carey and creates an excellent duo with fellow senior Christian Toddaro (St. John's). In between the lines, Mikey Verederosa (Adelphi) and sophomore Jayden Radow have been great at the midfield. On defense, Billy Koutsoumbaris (Adelphi) and goalie [player_tooltip player_id='126186' first='Richie' last='Metzger'] (Marist) will be asked to do a ton in a matchup with a Manhasset team filled with capable goal scorers. This Carey team is filled with players who won a football championship in the fall and have plenty of big-game experience.

Manhasset – As usual, 'Set is in the mix for a Class B championship, and its offense has found a rhythm as of late, averaging 13 goals per game in the last three contests. A big reason for the success has been Navy-bound senior Daniel Kolin, who had three goals in the quarterfinal win vs. Mepham, giving him 36 tallies on the season. [player_tooltip player_id='128129' first='Conor' last='Sheerin'] is another 30+ goal scorer for Manhasset and will be crucial for them in their postseason run. Juniors Dylan Scheer and Tommy Leder will be players to watch as well. When Manhasset has postseason success, goaltending usually plays a big role — Henry Griffith (Franklin & Marshall) has been solid with a 64% save percentage.

Class C

#1 South Side vs #4 Bethpage
#2 Wantagh vs #3 Plainedge

South Side – Despite losing a ridiculous number of seniors, the Cyclones did their fair share of winning and found themselves as the top seed in Class C. [player_tooltip player_id='30609' first='Cullen' last='Lynch'] (Iona) had to take a lead role, and he delivered with 40 goals and 22 assists. The breakout star for South Side has been sophomore attackman [player_tooltip player_id='123836' first='Luke' last='Mullen'], who has netted 50 goals in his first year as a starter. Sophomore Alec Notaro has stepped up at the face-off X. He was given tough matchups throughout the year and responded by winning 60% of his attempts. Seniors Mike Benfante and Brayden Gamberg (Wagner) have been great defensively and are groundball machines.

Bethpage – It's been a great year for the Eagles, and they have a core group that can help them make some noise. It all starts at the faceoff X, where they have a huge advantage. Leo Cataldo (Siena) is at almost 70% — he can change games and create offense for Bethpage early and often. Longstick midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='42665' first='Luke' last='Waxer'] (Bryant) had a monster quarterfinal performance, showing his game-breaking ability with two goals, 13 ground balls, and four caused turnovers. Senior Andrew Reinhardt has 40 goals on the season. Chase Soliday and Anthony Gaurasci will also be looked to on offense to help the Eagles keep pace with other explosive offensive units.

Wantagh – One of the most talented teams on Long Island, the Warriors have a loaded offensive unit that includes four players with over 30 goals on the season. It all starts with the quarterback of the unit, Villanova commit [player_tooltip player_id='17760' first='Devin' last='Paccione'], who has dished out 40 assists. His future college teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='82355' first='Joe' last='Nicholson'], has netted 39 goals. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='126935' first='Luke' last='Martini'] is a great finisher and leads the team in goals with 52 tallies. In big games, senior [player_tooltip player_id='21373' first='Dylan' last='Martini'] (Army) will be counted on to deliver; he leads the team with 76 points. [player_tooltip player_id='42657' first='Carter' last='Loughman'] (Albany) will be an X-factor for this Warriors offense during the playoffs.

Plainedge – The Red Devils have gone toe-to-toe with some of the top teams on Long Island this year. In the month of May, they've played South Side and Wantagh to close games. A large part of their success has been senior Owen Donnellan (Stony Brook), who has 54 points. Brian Keaveney has netted 36 goals on the year, and sophomore Dom Agovino has had a breakout season, scoring 33 goals. Against these great offenses, Matthew Chadwick (Marist) will have to play well in big matchups. Sophomore Brady Kelley had a huge quarterfinal performance with two goals and four assists in Plainedge's 12–11 win over Lynbrook.
