Is Motley undersized? Yeah, but who cares? More than half of the guys on this list are five-foot-nine or under. Closer to the ground means a lower center of gravity, theoretically making it easier to change direction and maintain your balance. With Motley, that’s not theoretical; he’s straight up slippery. He’s also a creative finisher who can get the ball into the net with either hand and at any angle. Motley is the kind of player who uses one move to set up his next one. If a defender is too close, he will hitch and get space, but the next time that same defender closes him out, he pushes to the opposite shoulder and gets underneath. Coaches always want an attackman who can move and manipulate like Motley.
