Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
As a freshman, Lanzetta was a solid rotational midfielder for SCHA. But after the outstanding play we saw in summer 2025 from this athletic prospect with noteworthy size and polished stick skills, we expect that Lanzetta will make the jump to major contributor this spring. With his speed, change of direction moves and ability to absorb contact, Lanzetta excels in transition. Once he gets below the restraining line, Lanzetta is a threat to find the back of the net or draw the point man and then distribute o the open teammate. In settled action, Lanzetta can easily separate from his initial defender and then get downhill for a crank on the move. From the wing, Lanzetta will execute a solid hitch move and then dip underneath his defender for a dash to the cage. Lanzetta can unleash powerful step downs as well as side arm rips from anywhere on the field. College coaches will love Lanzetta’s versatility as in addition to O-Mid, he has flashed that ability to operate at X-attack and SSDM.
