About Tripp
Expert Analysis
Ty Xanders | Prep Lacrosse Scout
A tall, lanky lefty with superb vision, Silva is calm and composed with the ball, making smart decisions and not shying away from contact despite a lean frame. He’s a talented shooter who can bury shots from the wing or get underneath defenses with his quick first step and change of direction. A natural attackman who doesn’t skip a beat running out of the box, Silva thrives as a positionless type of offensive weapon. He can make his man miss and use deception wisely, and is a constant threat due to his vision and passing ability. What has always stood out is how Silva has a knack for making his teammates better, throwing a man open or drawing slides before making the ‘one more’ pass. A Villanova commit as of this week, I’d expect Silva to make a sizable impact on the Bears’ offense in 2026 as part of an excellent junior class at Landon.

, a 6-foot left-handed attackman from Landon School (MD), made a strong impact in the Naptown National Championship, recording two key assists for his team. Silva is a skilled and savvy playmaker who thrives with the ball in his stick, using his vision and patience to pick apart defenses. His size and skill set, especially as a lefty, makes him a tough cover at X or on the wing, where he can operate as both a feeder and a scoring threat. With a high lacrosse IQ and a calm presence under pressure, Silva consistently creates opportunities for his teammates and adds a balanced, unselfish dynamic to the offense.

Silva was a steady contributor for a Next Level squad that won its first two games of the day and then tied Team Ten to end the day. A wiry 6’0 lefty, Silva played above the cage and attacked from the wings, though he looked to carry the ball behind plenty and turn the corner. No matter where he was, Silva was frequently involved in scoring plays and demonstrated a smooth, confident, and creative playing style along with some bounce as a dodger. Once he got hot, there were occasions when he needed to move the ball a bit quicker, but he’s got a pretty balanced game and has all of the makings of a player who will be a factor in the IAC, especially once he commits himself to the weight room.
