With Navy-bound senior Makana Nevorosky out for the season with a torn ACL, the Bears’ offense needed someone to step up and provide some pop. Grayson Paik is a competitive, two-handed midfielder from Landon who brings energy and explosiveness to the Next Level offense. He plays the game at a high pace, consistently competing against top-level opponents and holding his own on both ends of the field. Paik’s fast-twitch athleticism allows him to stay in front of dodgers defensively while also creating separation as an offensive threat. During the fall, he played primarily as a midfielder for Next Level, while also taking on an attacking role for Landon’s varsity squad in the NHSLS. His ability to adapt to multiple roles speaks to his versatility and feel for the game. With his competitive edge and athletic tools, Paik is a strong prospect whose development over the next year will be worth tracking closely.
