The Utah-bound senior has put together some great games, and this contest was no different. Forde stepped up and made 12 saves after facing 18 shots on goal. Forde has proven all year that he’s difficult to beat anywhere. He was ready for high heat in this one, as he made some key saves off stick high. In the fourth quarter, Forde stood tall and made some important saves to keep the Friars ahead. With just over five minutes to go, Chaminade was down by three and desperately needed a goal. Off a spin dodge, a low laser was fired from around seven yards, and Forde ended up making a huge save to keep the Flyers off the board. The Friars immediately went down and scored to run away with the win and another state title.
