The goalie play on both sides was really impressive in this one. Caputo stepped up in a huge way for the Flyers. He came away with 13 saves and gave his team so much momentum throughout this contest. St. Anthony’s was getting plenty of opportunities which included hard shots from good spots. But Caputo was ready for it he registered some timely saves to keep this game close for a while. On such a big stage, he was very poised. He had an incredible save on the doorstep late in the first half to keep the deficit to two goals. Chaminade’s offense ended up scoring on the next possession to gain momentum and only trailed by one at the half.
