The most versatile midfielder at the BIC Fall Showcase was Ranger Gregg, who impressed with his ability to impact the game in every phase—offense, defense, and at the X. In the game I watched, he went 12-for-16 on faceoffs and added a smooth underhand goal on the run. Gregg is quick to the clamp, explosive to ground balls, and he has a great feel for how to exit and use his wings.

With the ball, he plays with confidence and looks to take smart, high-quality shots. Defensively, his footwork and competitiveness stand out, and he’s not afraid to pressure opposing faceoff specialists who lack confidence handling the ball. It’s refreshing to see a 2029 like Gregg embrace being a complete lacrosse player instead of specializing early—his versatility gives him a real edge moving forward.
