Crawford is that lefty that every coach wants, and he officially came off the board when he announced his commitment to Fairfield this morning. Hard-charging and eager to get past the first man, he is a nightmare in transition and early offense. He has incredible shooting range, and he makes the most of it by using his acceleration and braking ability like a humanoid sports car. If you don’t have a stick on him, he will let it fly from 15 yards out without even thinking about it. In fact, he is one of the players that SJP looked to over and over last season to get their offense going in its fallow periods.

Don’t let Mac Crawford Mac Crawford 5'10" | 170 lbs | M/A | Left Hand St. John's Prep | 2028 MA ‘s size fool you—his skill set is the real deal. At the Inside Lacrosse ID Experience, he showcased advanced body control, repeatedly stopping on a dime and leaving defenders chasing. Around the crease, Crawford excels at manipulating goalies with well-timed fakes and smooth finishes. From the outside, he’s a dangerous on-the-run shooter who can pick corners with confidence and precision.

What impressed most, though, was his vision and creativity under pressure. He consistently drew slides and delivered accurate feeds around defenders, changing release points to keep passing lanes open. Crawford’s quickness, body control, and deceptive playmaking make him one of the more skilled and dynamic young scorers in the 2028 class.
