Townsend played with a level of skill and poise well beyond his years at BIC. His combination of slick dodging, two-handed ability, and elite finishing touch made him one of the most polished young players in attendance. At times, it was hard to tell which hand he favored—his release was equally smooth and natural on both sides.

When dodging, Townsend consistently slipped past defenders to create high-quality looks, and once near the cage, his box background took over. His deception and finishing ability were off the charts for a 2029. Even if doesn't hit a growth spurt, Townsend's advanced skill set and confidence make him a name you'll keep hearing for years to come.

The most versatile midfielder at the BIC Fall Showcase was Ranger Gregg, who impressed with his ability to impact the game in every phase—offense, defense, and at the X. In the game I watched, he went 12-for-16 on faceoffs and added a smooth underhand goal on the run. Gregg is quick to the clamp, explosive to ground balls, and he has a great feel for how to exit and use his wings.

With the ball, he plays with confidence and looks to take smart, high-quality shots. Defensively, his footwork and competitiveness stand out, and he's not afraid to pressure opposing faceoff specialists who lack confidence handling the ball. It's refreshing to see a 2029 like Gregg embrace being a complete lacrosse player instead of specializing early—his versatility gives him a real edge moving forward.

A competitive lefty goalie, Mulligan stood out as one of the more impressive netminders. He already seems to have a mental catalog of release points, reading shooters so well that he often reacts before they even finish their follow-through. His communication was another strength—constantly directing slides, organizing his defense, and making sharp reads in the clearing game. While he can sometimes get a little aggressive with deep outlet passes, that confidence will only benefit him as his decision-making continues to mature. Mulligan's instincts, poise, and leadership from the crease point to a bright future for the young lefty.

Declan Troy turned heads at the BIC Fall Showcase with his pure scoring ability. Operating primarily from his natural side on the lefty wing, he attacked up the hashes or used a well-timed hitches to get to the middle. His release, both on the run and with his feet set, is extremely deceptive, allowing him to hide the ball and freeze goalies before snapping it past them. Troy also showcased strong vision, finding backside cutters without telegraphing his passes, and he was consistently effective off the ball. By timing his pipe cuts perfectly and finishing in tight spaces, Troy proved to be one of the most polished lefty finishers in the 2029 group.

The lefty attackman from New York showed a well-rounded skill set and plenty of upside to build on for the future. He was effective both in his long and short dodges, using hitches, toe drags, and S-dodges to create separation and get to high-quality shooting spots. As a feeder, he demonstrated great touch and awareness, using multiple release points to thread passes through traffic and find open teammates. Kasselakis has the individual skill and creativity to make plays at will, and as he transitions into high school, continuing to refine his feel within a team offense will take his game to another level.
