Colhoun is an incredibly intriguing prospect whose game is clearly trending in the right direction. This spring, he finished with 20 goals and six assists, appearing to grow more comfortable as his sophomore season progressed. Tall, lanky, and athletic, he’s a true two-stepper — the type of player who can cover five yards in just two long strides. He caught fire with a four-goal outing against Mt. St. Joe, during which he scored to break a tie on three separate occasions, then scored the OT game-winner against archrival Boys’ Latin when inverting behind. His shooting stroke is textbook and an absolute thing of beauty, with his straight over-the-top release proving to be borderline unsaveable this year. Coming from strong lacrosse bloodlines, his poise and decision-making stand out and will serve him well this summer as he looks to make an impression in front of college coaches.
