Harry Schniedwind has been a trusted piece of McDonogh’s midfield rotation since his freshman season, contributing to an MIAA run that saw the Eagles capture championships in 2023 & 2024 during one of the league’s most dominant stretches. Harry is a left-handed midfielder with legitimate two-way value. He plays the game with a vintage feel — comfortable impacting possessions on either end while maintaining offensive prowess. As a dodger, Schniedwind initiates contact with intent, creating separation through strength & footwork. He can finish attacking space or stepping into his shot. Harry processes the field well on the move, showing a natural sense for when to get downhill & when to move the ball. Defensively, his speed, agility, & on-ball competitiveness allow him to cover ground, win matchups, & contribute between the lines. After spending much of his high school career in a role that prioritized versatility on a loaded roster, Schniedwind enters his senior season as a team captain.
