One of just three ninth graders to earn a varsity letter last season, he showed maturity and confidence well beyond his years. Prinzbach is a quick, decisive player who plays with poise and toughness, especially when finishing around the net. He can contribute effectively at either midfield or attack, giving the staff flexibility in how he is deployed. An aggressive and relentless rider, Prinzbach combines skill, effort, and toughness to consistently impact games.

Cai Prinzbach Cai Prinzbach 6'0" | A/M St. Anne's-Belfield School | 2028 VA is a 6’0 right-handed attackman from St. Anne’s-Belfield who brings a shifty, slick style of play to the offensive end. Comfortable playing both offensive midfield and attack, he provides versatility and flexibility within the offensive unit. Prinzbach is effective off the dodge, showing good field vision and the ability to make the right read as defenses collapse. His incredible quickness and creativity allow him to create separation and keep defenders off balance. With his combination of feel, vision, and positional versatility, Prinzbach is a reliable playmaker who helps keep the offense flowing.

After watching Cai Prinzbach at NHSLS with his STAB squad, it’s easy to see why he’s poised for a big role in their offense as a sophomore. He brings real versatility and does a lot of things well, starting with his dodging. Prinzbach can initiate from anywhere on the field and consistently creates problems for both poles and short sticks. He has a quick burst out of his dodge and plays with constant deception, selling hard dodges only to dump it off, or showing pass before snapping off a shot in an instant.

At a minimum, he’s going to be a reliable initiator who piles up assists regardless of where he lines up this spring. Add in his ability as a step-down shooter, his effectiveness in transition, and his willingness to go all out in the riding game, and you’re looking at a player who impacts the game in multiple ways. Prinzbach is the type of underclassman who makes life easier for everyone else on the field—and STAB will feel that this season.
