Ty Xanders | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Simply put, Creech was an animal as a junior, yet I can’t help but think that he’s just scratching the surface. The Tampa (Fla.) native is a talented three-year varsity hockey player — which is no easy feat up there — so he joins the lacrosse team a bit later than his peers but doesn’t skip a beat. A big, strong, and athletic physical specimen, Creech doesn’t need to throw many checks and seldom gets beat, playing lights-out 1v1 defense and relying on his high-level footwork, physicality, and superb position play. He has evolved into a super reliable No. 1 cover guy, and the argument can be made that his best lacrosse is ahead of him, which is exciting for Princeton. With another year of development, he’ll be ready to contribute early on in the Ivy League.
