Day is a downhill, goal-scoring midfielder who just flipped from UMass-Lowell to Manhattan. During the 2026 high school season, Day poured in 36 goals. It was the second straight year in which Day has scored 30 or more goals for Unionville. The long and fleet-footed Day can cook the initial defender with a quick burst, then race past sliding poles for a scoring chance in close. Day can also beat his man, dash into open and then slam on the brakes for a 15–18-yard rip. His ability to dodge going to his left or right makes it impossible for defenders to stay in front of Day. This high-IQ offensive prospect will also use his field vision and feathery touch to deliver creative dimes. The Manhattan coaching staff will love Day’s ability to operate in two-man action.        

Earlier this week, Day committed to UMass-Lowell and the River Hawks coaching staff must be thrilled about adding this long and fast midfielder with polished stick skills. Last season Day scored 33 goals and dished out 18 assists. Those remarkable stats garnered Day a 2^nd Team All-Ches-Mont League selection. Day owns a quick burst which enables to blow past the initial defender, get downhill in a flash and then score or distribute on the run. His ability to dodge going to his left or right and then shoot or pass with either hand makes him especially difficult to defend in open space. The UMass-Lowell staff will love that Day can pull his defender out to the midfield line and then work off a high screen to create an odd man break. Another asset that pops about Day is his booming shot. Day can fire missiles on the move or via step-downs.
