This two-time New Balance All-America selection continued to prove that he is one of the top uncommitted goalie prospects in the state. Decker’s ability to rapidly slide post to post or cover high to low is impressive. His ability to track stepdown shots is next level. Thus, opponents can forget about beating Decker from a distance. When opponents generated opportunities in close, Decker was a poised and patient netminder who snuffed out shots around the crease. Once the ball was in Decker’s possession, he delivered precise clearing passes. Decker also owns good foot speed. So, after a save, he will not hesitate to advance the ball and trigger the fast break himself. As a bonus to his net-minding skills, Decker owns the intangibles college coaches obsess over in a goalie.

Saccomandi is a versatile pole who proved at NHSLS that he can play different styles of defense and run at multiple positions. The 6-foot, 210-pound Saccomandi showed he is extremely capable of playing a physical brand of pole where he uses body checks or repeated heavy stick checks to cause a turnover. Saccomandi also played the finesse game and patiently ran with an offensive player until he saw an opening for a well-timed poke check or can opener. Either way, once the ball was on the ground, Saccomandi quickly secured possession for SCH. He often got out in transition with those caused turnovers and displayed good clearing speed. Saccomandi also displayed a high lacrosse IQ, a solid understanding of team defensive strategies, and the ability to play LSM. His exceptional performances at NHSLS earned Saccomandi a spot on the All-Tournament team.

Smith is a fast and solidly built attackman with an accurate shot. When he is on the wing, that trifecta of assets enables Smith to sweep over the top of a defense until he finds an opening and then unleashes a missile on the run. College coaches will also love his ability to crank step-downs from all over the perimeter. He is especially effective rolling out of pick action into space and then quickly firing a shot into the net. As a nice bonus to his scoring, Smith owns the lacrosse IQ and field vision to move the ball in a timely fashion to open teammates. Smith is also comfortable running at midfield too. At NHSLS, Smith registered 13 goals and six assists as EA posted a 4-1 record. His five-goal performance against Long Island powerhouse Garden City was especially impressive. After the event, Smith was named to the All-Tournament team.

Just two weeks after he helped Radnor win the PIAA 3A state title, the uncommitted Smith, who posted a goal in an assist in the state championship game, was back on the field minus the Raptors’ decorated Class of 2024. At NHSLS, Smith quickly adapted to his new role as the primary offensive initiator for Radnor as he recorded nine goals as well as seven assists and was named to the All-Tournament team. His three-goal, two-assist effort against Chatham (N.J.) was extraordinarily impressive. Smith is a fast and athletic midfielder with incredible change of direction moves. His accurate shooting and well-timed decisions make him a threat to score or distribute in the open field. Simply put, Smith excels in transition. In settled action, Smith plays with poise and composure. His quick first step and crafty dodges enable him to blow past defenders to create scoring opportunities for himself or his teammates. At NHSLS, there were numerous possessions where Smith also displayed the ability to carry the ball behind the net and generate opportunities for Radnor from X.
