Continuing a look around Rochester and the area's promising rising juniors, today, we're shining a light on five attackmen who earned honors after the season. Two more players to watch who also picked up All-League recognition are Irondequoit's [player_tooltip player_id='201306' first='Kieran' last='Stenzel'] and Jonah Jobson of Webster Thomas, who elected to transfer to Blue Ridge School (Va.) and reclass as a 2029.

Although his production dipped a bit from 2025 — though a look through Spencerport's box scores suggests he may have been dealing with an injury — Endres is a two-time All-League honorable mention selection with an intriguing skill set, albeit in a more compact package. He's crafty and rather two-handed, showing a level of confidence initiating dodges with his off-hand. His vision and ability as a feeder, whether behind the cage or, more frequently, attacking from above the cage, are certainly among his best attributes. Finishing with 10 goals and 21 assists as a sophomore (and leading his team in the latter category), Endres' tape shows him feeding cutters on the doorstep and making plays in a variety of ways. Furthermore, he's a relentless competitor who brings some tenacity in the riding game and a constant willingness to stick his nose in the dirt and dig out big groundballs.

Flaum put together one of the better seasons among 2028s in Section V, putting up 38 goals and 30 assists and picking up 2nd Team All-League distinction. From there, he carried that momentum into the summer and showed the well-roundedness of his skill set. His high-level footwork is a hallmark of his game, as he artfully attacks his matchups from behind the cage and uses his bounce and change-of-direction to free up his hands to make plays. Flaum can win his matchups attacking from X and get up the hash, play the pipes while working off-ball, or stretch defenses with his shot. He's always playing under control and is someone that you can trust to make the right decisions with the ball and make heads-up plays. He's more of a goal-scorer, but has developed as a passer over time and throws the ball around with confidence.

Coming from the same Pal-Mac program that produced 2018 Tewaaraton Award winner Ben Reeves (Yale), Hill already has over 200 career points to his name after a sensational sophomore season. The promising lefty racked up 57 goals and 55 assists to lead Section V in both points and assists, earning Second Team All-Greater Rochester and First Team All-League honors in the process. He has an excellent feel for the game and strong fundamentals, but can also finish with flair inside when he isn't setting up his teammates. In addition, Hill is a gifted outside shooter with the confidence to let it rip from ridiculously low angles. Despite playing small-school ball, he draws plenty of attention from opposing defenses and does a terrific job finding teammates when slides come early. What really stands out, though, is his touch and knack around the crease. He has a phenomenal handle and silky hands, allowing his teammates to simply get him the ball and trust him to take care of the rest.

A young prospect who plays with palpable competitive energy, Jipson has a rather well-rounded skill set, having compiled 46 goals and 20 assists through his first two seasons on varsity. He's capable of making plays with either hand and can get his hands free in a number of different ways, including showing a flair for the dramatic. Slick and skilled, he's a rock-solid athlete with a great stick and snappy hands, thriving from the wing and demonstrating a strong shot on the run. To me, he looks like more of a midfielder at the next level. While he's undoubtedly an offensive player, I've been impressed with his ability to hold up well when caught on defense and mix it up on GBs, then push transition, so his versatility will serve him well moving forward.

Smith set a program record with 69 points this season, earning First Team All-County and Second Team All-Greater Rochester honors in the process. He's a wildly skilled goal-scorer who can fill up a stat sheet in a hurry when paired with guys who can get him the ball. He'll make one move and go or thrive off the catch, showing a strong catch radius and consistently hauling in everything thrown his way. A sneaky strength is his vision; he does a nice job of drawing attention before finding an open teammate. I wasn't able to get a sense of his game until later in the summer, but he consistently found himself at the end of plays for a talented Upstate New York squad at the New Balance All-America Underclass Tournament. With excellent hands and a knack for finding soft spots off-ball, Smith possesses one of the best qualities a scorer can have: he doesn't need the ball in his stick often to make an impact.
