A young prospect who plays with palpable competitive energy, Jipson has a rather well-rounded skill set, having compiled 46 goals and 20 assists through his first two seasons on varsity. He’s capable of making plays with either hand and can get his hands free in a number of different ways, including showing a flair for the dramatic. Slick and skilled, he’s a rock-solid athlete with a great stick and snappy hands, thriving from the wing and demonstrating a strong shot on the run. To me, he looks like more of a midfielder at the next level. While he’s undoubtedly an offensive player, I’ve been impressed with his ability to hold up well when caught on defense and mix it up on GBs, then push transition, so his versatility will serve him well moving forward.
