<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With September 9th less than four weeks away, highly ranked Class of 2028 prospects are preparing to receive phone calls and texts from college coaches early that Wednesday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I expect that decorated 2028 prospects from the Delaware Valley such as attackman Harrison Tyler, midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='129788' first='Chase' last='Aquino'] and defenseman [player_tooltip player_id='121345' first='Max' last='Delvescovo'] will be flooded with calls and texts on the morning of September 9th.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>But the Delaware Valley's Class of 2028 is extraordinarily deep. Therefore, I anticipate that college coaches will be reaching out to a slew of players outside that first group of prospects on September 9th.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So today I want to highlight five Class of 2028 prospects from the Delaware Valley who I believe will be sneaky popular with college coaches on the opening day of the contact period for 2028s.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["173301"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a7f8570a5957"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Carmouche is an athletic and fleet footed pole with elite stick skills. That trifecta of assets makes Carmouche a two-way force. As an on-ball defender, Carmouche can stay attached to his opponent for long stretches and torture him with slaps, lifts, and pokes. Carmouche also excels at arriving early to the ball carrier and then dictating the direction of play with his physicality. Carmouche generates turnovers via his aggressive stick checks as well as by taking the body.  Once the ball hits the turf, Carmouche uses his fantastic scoop and go skills to create transition scoring chances. Additionally, Carmouche has demonstrated that he can secure a GB in traffic, dash to open space and then fire a clearing pass up field. Carmouche has proven to be a tremendous team defender who executes timely slides and double teams too.     </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["175530"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a7f895f55921"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">The 2026 high school season was Ellis's breakout stretch of play as he scored 26 goals and handed out 26 dimes while pushing Springfield to the Pennsylvania 3A state tournament semifinals. In that state semifinal contest, Ellis posted a goal along with an assist and effectively operated at SSDM against eventual champion La Salle. This rising junior continued his outstanding play at marquee stops on the summer circuit like the Alliance League Summer Championships and the New Balance All-America event. Ellis was a versatile offensive prospect who initiated from anywhere in the offensive end, separated from his defender and then ripped while on the move. When he got downhill, Ellis did a fantastic job of keeping his head up. So, if the slide came too early, Ellis used his field vision and polished stick skills to move the rock to the open teammate. Ellis is also a high IQ prospect who used timely off-ball movements to create easy scoring chances.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["202098"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":202138,"_player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a7f895f5599f"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">One item that really pops about Farrell's skill set is his ability uncork absolute missiles from up top as well as the wing. Farrell's velocity and precise aim makes his perimeter shots impossible to stop. He is also a master at firing long range bouncers past opposing goalies. Farrell's high IQ off-ball cuts and drifts enable him to find the time and space for these cranks. This summer Farrell proved he could come out of the box, receive an outlet pass, get downhill in a flash, and then score or distribute while running full speed. Plus, he flashed the ability to play SSDM. At the defensive end of the field, Farrell's speed made him a plus player in the clearing game. During his impressive sophomore campaign for Haddonfield, Farrell netted 22 goals and was a 1st Team All-Olympic Conference selection.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["129555"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a7f895f559f6"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Kelleher missed almost the entire 2026 high school and all of the recent summer circuit with a knee injury. But prior to that, Kelleher was regarded as one of the top 2028 poles in Pennsylvania. I am betting that college coaches remember that fact, and that Kelleher's phone blows up on September 9th. Kelleher is a lefty, two-way LSM who thrives at pushing the fast break. Kelleher's incredibly polished stick skills enable him to carry the ball deep into the offensive end for scores and assists. On defense, Kelleher's smooth lateral movements, aggressive stick work and physicality make him a menacing on-ball presence. He can cause turnovers via slaps, lifts, pokes, and well-timed trail checks. Kelleher can also put the ball on the turf with a forceful shoulder check. Plus, Kelleher has a habit of slicing through passing lanes and for a deflection or interception. Kelleher is a ground ball machine too.     </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["201597"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6a7f895f55a43"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">McGarigle capped off a an incredible, stock rising summer by being named to the all-tournament team at the New Balance All-America event. This left-handed prospect with elusive stick maneuvers and filthy shooting skills thrives in the low, lefty attack spot. His ability to receive a pass at GLE and then swiftly fire a shot into the net is impressive. McGarigle can also pull in a feed and then make a quick move that allows him to slip between defenders for a scoring chance around the crease. His deep bag of fakes and creative finishes make McGarigle impossible to stop in-close. McGarigle also possesses a quick burst and elusive change of direction moves. That combination allows McGarigle to dodge from the wing or up top, find open space and then fire on the run. McGarigle has flashed the ability to initiate from X too. This versatile 2028 is a patient dodger who will wait for high percentage opportunities to develop for himself or teammates. College coaches will love McGarigle's ability to shoot / feed with both hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
