A number of the top-ranked Class of 2025 prospects in Pennsylvania have already given their verbal commitments to college programs, flying off the board in September. Names like [player_tooltip player_id='14544' first='Michael' last='Ortlieb'] (Duke), [player_tooltip player_id='14520' first='Gavin' last='Cooper'] (Duke), [player_tooltip player_id='14517' first='Jake' last='Bickel'] (Georgetown) and [player_tooltip player_id='14541' first='Griff' last='Meyer'] (Virginia) come to mind immediately.

However, Pennsylvania's Class of 2025 is absolutely loaded and deep with talent. Thus, there's a host of extraordinarily skilled prospects still on the board. Below is a review of five of those uncommitted prospects from the Keystone State. College coaches need to keep a close eye on these players this spring and into the summer.

He is elusive and owns a deep bag of dodges and moves, too. So, when Fertels gets downhill, he is practically unstoppable. Fertels also excels in the transition game where he can score on the run or draw and then pass to the open man. In 6-on-6 action, Fertels can snipe from multiple spots, is an assist machine, and moves well without the ball. On the circuit, Fertels was an All-Star selection at The Show 2025 and NXT's Philly Showcase. Expect Fertels to have an impact with the nationally-ranked Fords this spring.u0026nbsp;u003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["18393"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"u003cpu003eCollege coaches: if an athletic, physical, and skilled midfielder with imposing size is on your list, then Keating is your guy. His ability to fire rockets past the goalie from distance is remarkable. He will crank from deep with either hand. Keating is shifty and will run through checks. That combination enables him to get past the initial defender and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. As a sophomore, Keating posted 40 goals and 30 assists as he helped push Marple Newtown to the 2A state championship. Keating is a multi-sport athlete who is a three-year starter in lacrosse and a standout on the hoops court, too.u003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["18397"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"A First Team All-League selection and three-star recruit, Peterman is a highly decorated face-off specialist, and if you watch him for a game or two you will realize why. He is extremely quick as well as technical and possesses a high IQ. That trifecta of assets enables Peterman to win draws clean and rapidly head downfield for a score or to drop a dime. On the rare occasion where Peterman does not win the clamp, he is athletic (also playing football), tenacious and owns a solid frame. Thus, he can get physical to scoop up a loose ball or drop back and play respectable defense. This past summer, Peterman was a dominating presence at the X for Big 4 HHH. During his sophomore campaign at LaSalle, Peterman won 82.8% of his face-offs while registering seven goals and 10 assists.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["18399"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"In 2023, this lefty with a dynamic first step recorded 14 goals and 17 assists for a La Salle squad that won the PCL and went to the 3A state semifinals. Rossi can beat a defender in several ways. He is elusive and fast, so he can execute a move and then blow past his man. He also has a physical edge to his game and will not hesitate to run through a defender on his way to the cage. As a shooter, Rossi can score with either hand while on the run and is extremely accurate on step-downs. It also should be noted that Rossi moves well off-ball and is comfortable playing lefty attack. This past summer, Rossi was a key offensive threat for a Big 4 HHH team that is loaded with college prospects. As a nice bonus to all his scoring skills, Rossi is a ground ball machine.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["18401"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Last spring, Smith notched seven goals and 10 assists as a reserve on a stacked Radnor squad that captured their third consecutive 3A state title. The summer served as his breakout period. Smith started his summer by being selected as an all-star at The Show. He then continued to turn heads with his two-way skills at marquee summer events like NHSLS and NLF. Smith is an extremely fast, athletic (he also plays basketball), and elusive middie who thrives in the open field. When Smith is on the run, he can ping corners or draw the defender and then move the ball to the open teammate. His ability to execute a dodge or simply change direction at full speed is impressive. In settled action, Smith is an initiator who plays with poise and a high IQ. This past October, Smith was an All-Star selection at the Apex Fall National Showcase.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65c0dd280837d"} /-->
