Nevada Defensemen Who Have Caught My Attention Recently

Defense has been a strength out West lately, with a number of prospects making their mark on that end. These players have consistently impacted games with their positioning, toughness, and playmaking ability.

Daniel Auon has made an impact for the Crusaders since switching to defense. His IQ is evident, and he puts himself in position to make plays and scoop up loose ground balls. He also has the speed to assist during clears. Look for him to continue to be a dependable piece for Faith.

Class of 2027 defensemen [player_tooltip player_id='176504' first='Jace' last='Mims'] has been doing it all for the Panthers lately. I'm also a fan of how he competes and how he gets open for his teammates when they need assistance.

[player_tooltip player_id='176505' first='Danny' last='Richards'] uses his instincts, strength, and footwork to keep his man in front of him. In addition to his strong defense, Richards makes accurate passes during clearing attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='176510' first='DJ' last='Rogers'] has been steady for the Cougars on defense.
