About Enrico
What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
My biggest strength as a player is my ability to stay composed & focused, especially in pressure situations. A goalie cannot let 1 goal or 1 mistake affect the next play. I communicate constantly with my defense, reading the field, and put myself in the best position to make the save. This shows in my consistency in making important saves at key moments & the confidence I give my teammates.
What are you working to improve right now?
I am self scouting film, working on becoming more patient & disciplined when shooters dodge, fake & finish near the crease. I want to avoid reacting too early and giving them an opening. I am also working on maintaining strong positioning and staying balanced, which gives me an extra split second to react and improves my ability to handle both high and low shots.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I’m looking for a program that plays tough, team defense, and a tradition of success. As a goalie, I want to be part of a defense that communicates and competes together. I want coaches who will push me, help me improve, and help me become a better player and teammate. I want to be part of a program that is working to win a conference championship and compete for a national title.
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
I come from a big, close family that can be a little crazy in the best way. I love our family traditions, joking around, and pulling pranks on my siblings and friends. I’m usually pretty easygoing and like making people laugh, but I also care a lot about the people around me. My family has taught me to be loyal, work hard, and support others, and those are qualities I try to bring to my team as we
What do you want to study, and what career interests you?
I’m interested in business, finance, chemistry, and forensics. Not sure what I will decide but I'd like to explore those areas and possibly major in one while adding a minor. My goal is to find work that challenges me and that I enjoy enough that it does not always feel like work. I’m hoping college will help me discover which path is the best fit for me.
