Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
This season, Clark is one of the offensive players expected to help replace the loss of all-everything attackman Pat Flaherty (115 points in 2025; Maryland) to graduation. In Springfield’s season opener, Clark quickly proved that he is ready to handle that challenge as he notched a hat trick before halftime and recorded 4 goals and an assist overall. This talented lefty was simply unstoppable. He beat defenders 1v1 with his quick burst for goals. Clark also worked off-ball for catch and finish goals. Plus, Clark sniped one from 10 yards out after he had snatched a rebound out of the air. 2026 is going to be a monster season for Clark.

During the 2025 season, Clark was a key role player for Springfield’s state championship team. But Springfield lost a host of talented offensive players to graduation last spring, including scoring machine Pat Flaherty (115 points in 2025), who is now at Maryland. Thus, Clark will be asked to take on a much larger role this spring. Clark (31 goals in 2025) is an extraordinary catch and finish lefty attack prospect. His smart and well-timed sweeps, cuts, and drifts produce those high percentage scoring chances. Clark’s deep bag of fakes and finishing moves make him impossible for goalies to stop along the crease. This lefty can also rip shots into the back of the net from GLE. Clark’s dodging skills are underrated. He can initiate from X as well as the wing to create for himself or teammates.
