Always fun to watch, Lynch has an incredible knack for making plays that his team feeds off of. Although the Flyers ultimately came up short, Lynch scored Chaminade’s first two goals against Loyola on a turnaround shot on EMO and a jumper. During Friday night’s contest, he scored a pair of beautiful goals during a three-goal, one-assist outing. One was a flat-out ridiculous bomb from Steph Curry range just a step or two in front of the restraining line, a shot that found the bottom corner. Later in the game off an invert, Lynch showed off his fancy footwork on a nasty inside roll, utilizing head and stick fakes to beat a phenomenal keeper. A hard-charger who simply knows how to find the back of the net, Lynch is the type of player who the Flyers will lean on throughout his senior season before he makes his way to South Bend.

I absolutely love Lynch’s game. Finishing the season with 34 goals and 11 assists, he checks all of the boxes in terms of the way he’s able to score and is willing to do anything to get to the rack, often swimming defenders or pinballing past his man and selling out. The younger brother of Notre Dame All-American face-off man Will Lynch, he was particularly strong against St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.), impressing while registering five goals in the win. He finished the year having posted three or more goals seven different times.
