I spent Sunday watching all six games on Field One at Troy Park in Elkridge, Md., during IL's Fall ID Experience. Three featured the 2028 division, a group made up mostly of uncommitted prospects. Here are six players who stood out in those matchups:

By far the best off-ball defender I saw on Sunday, Tedy Wagner consistently stood out with his support across multiple slide packages. Over his three games, he delivered hard slides from adjacent positions and the crease, collapsed on cutters, and jumped ball carriers on rollbacks to put the ball on the turf. Wagner toes the line with his physicality, but there's value in an enforcer who knows when to make a shooter pay without putting his team in a bad spot. He's no slouch on the ball, either. A lefty, Wagner stays on righties' hands with ease, jarring the ball loose multiple times, and uses a hard cross-check to knock dodgers off their line. He handled the ball well, too, pushing at the right moments and making smart reads to find wide-open midfielders in the settled clear.

Passehl opened the day with a well-timed cut and a sweet, clip-worthy behind-the-back finish. An attackman with good size and a strong feel for the game, he can make an impact in multiple ways. There are flashes of the great John Grant Jr. in the way he dodges. Passehl isn't slow, but he doesn't solely rely on top speed because he doesn't need to. Instead, he leans on his size and deception. When defenders don't pressure him, Passehl keeps his head up and methodically reads the field, using subtle changes of speed, looks, and fakes to manipulate his matchup until he can free his hands. He did plenty of damage from behind the cage and the righty wing with Blue Star this summer, showing he can finish with either hand from all over the field.

With only one other FOGO in the '28 division, Bledsoe was dominant at IDX, and not just on the initial clamp. On Field 1, I had him down for 23-of-31. His quick hands on the whistle were the obvious starting point, often allowing him to win clamps cleanly, but there was more to his success. He varied his exits, taking what his opponent gave him and often pulling the ball backward to himself. In tie-ups, he had the strength to outmuscle opponents. When he lost the hand-speed battle, he used shovel counters to win possession. Even when he lost outright, he landed a couple of swift checks to get the ball right back. With the ball in his stick, Bledsoe took care of business even against LSM matchups tasked with pressuring him. He pushed when opportunities arose, tallying an assist against the Rebels in his first game of the day.

Amoia's best sequence happened right in front of me. He dodged down the alley with his right hand, slammed on the brakes to send his defender to the turf, then redodged with his left and finished low-to-low. Listed as a natural righty, he sure looked comfortable with his left, scoring twice more in front of me with that hand: once on a rollback with another low-to-low finish and once on a sweep toward the middle. He brought plenty of heat on those shots, too. As a dodger, Amoia showed more than changes of direction and confidence carrying with either hand. He has the shake to lose his defender, the physicality to lean into contact at the right moment, and the awareness to take whatever the defense gives him.

A physical dodger and an imposing inside presence, Lamanna did work around the goal at IDX. At 6-foot-3 and rock-solid, he's hard to rattle. On the crease, defenders did their best to keep a stick on him and collapse when the ball came inside, but his size, hands, and quick release made him tough to cover. He finished one catch-and-shoot opportunity inside and had a couple of other strong takes, adding to the many I saw from him over the summer. His size also helps him grind out groundballs in scrums and create advantages as a dodger. He's tough to stop when he leans into a defender to turn the corner after working up the hashes, and he's just as imposing coming downhill out of the box. Unfazed by stick checks and unselfish when the slide comes, Lamanna can hurt defenses in many ways.

On my radar since the summer, Adey has shown a range of skills that translate to the next level, along with an X-factor that comes from his hustle. A perfect example came in his second game of the day at IDX, when his effort on the ride led to a nasty groundball pickup and an eventual goal—a sequence that deserved a hockey assist. An unselfish player who also tallied two actual assists in that game, Adey makes split-second decisions and feeds with both hands. He uses deception to find teammates inside and on skip passes without telegraphing where the ball is going. Catching the ball loaded makes him a threat to feed or shoot right away, and he often finishes with a silky-smooth sidearm or underhand release.
