So far, half a dozen players from the class of '28 have committed to D-1 teams, but many more players are waiting in the wings in this second wave of this cycle, and NHT's most decorated uncommitted junior is expected to decide this week. Here are five more uncommitted NH Tomahawks players you need to know more about this fall.

A real combo two-way middie, Little is an offensive force for his high school team (he had 96 points last season), but plays both O-mid and SSDM for his club team. He truly has high-level box-to-box speed and endurance. He is projected to play on the defensive side of the ball at the next level, but that could change if he gets more looks against top-tier opposition. Hard to call him a sleeper, but exceptional players for Vermont often are tarred with that brush, regardless. Don't be shocked to see a team snatch him up to be a stay-and-play sort of second option off the break.

McPhee's best attribute is how well he handles pressure once he gets the ball off the ground. He scans and finds space at the same time, opening up lanes without dodging for the sake of it. He's the kind of defenseman that frustrates attackers because he can match feet and get low, but also has the strength to turn dodgers back on their heels. Really an underrated prospect as far as the rest of this class of defenders is concerned. McPhee is a steal, even if only for his IQ on and off the ball, along with his physical attributes. He may stay in the pocket for an offer from a higher academic program longer than most would with his skill set.

When he's not writing a blockbuster airport novel or storming sieged buildings in Rainbow Six, Clancy plays as a hard-nosed, no-nonsense LSM for BG and the Tomahawks. Okay, so just the third part of that sentence is correct, but when you have a name like that, it begs to be referenced. What does not beg to be referenced is Clancy's ability to chop the ball free and get down the field, because it is on full display every time he gets an opportunity to go after a slapdash O-mid. If you show too much of your stick to Clancy, you're going to be in clear and present danger. He will be on the hunt for a commitment after this [Red] October.

A perimeter player with top-side shake, Havemeyer has the size everyone wants when they're looking for a mid-range wing shooter. He's also got exceptional hands regardless of what side of his body you throw the ball at - he's going to catch it. Havemeyer's development over the summer has included adding more upper-body strength to soak up more contact and keep going through the first layer of the defense. His off-ball movement has also improved, as he is actively looking for shooting lanes at all times. You absolutely have to put a pole on Havemeyer, or he's going to get inside his shooting range with just a few steps towards the crease.

I've always admired Fox, and he had an excellent season for Middlesex last spring. Although not much has changed since the last write-up, Fox is in a great position to improve his stock with strong performances in the upcoming fall club tournaments. He's still an excellent five-tool goaltender. Fox is more athletic than you may think and can make plays with the ball as well as stop it from hitting the back of his net. At his best, he's one of the best goalies left on the board in the region, and if he can show that consistency in the next month or so of competition, he will no doubt be getting offers from schools that are still in the hunt for a netminder.
