Below is a review of five prospects from the Delaware Valley (SEPA, Delaware, South Jersey) who have played outstanding lacrosse in recent weeks and thus increased their recruiting stock.

The stellar play of Frey has been a major reason Haddonfield has jumped out to a 5-1 start in 2026. Included in those five wins was an upset of New Jersey powerhouse Christian Brothers Academy during which Frey made twelve saves. Frey also recorded fourteen saves against nationally ranked St. Augustine Prep. This 2028 prospect possesses fast hands and remarkable agility. Combine those assets with Frey's noteworthy size, and you get a brick wall between the pipes. Frey's ability to track shooters on the perimeter produces a high percentage of clean saves. Once the ball is in his stick, Frey will deliver timely and precise outlets. For a sophomore, Frey is extremely poised and does an impressive job of communicating with his defensive unit.

After serving as a reliable contributor during his freshman campaign (16G, 13A), Maloney has exploded onto the recruiting scene in 2026. With roughly a month remaining in this season, this highly skilled and versatile offensive prospect has already posted 22 goals and 17 assists. Maloney recently scored four goals and handed out two assists in a win over Liberty. Maloney's speed, athleticism, and polished stick skills enable him to operate at attack or midfield. He is an especially dangerous finisher who can score around the crease or rip catch and shoots from distance. The combination of Maloney's patience and deep bag of finishing moves makes him impossible to stop in close. Maloney's ability to fire from multiple angles makes him an especially lethal shooter from above GLE and the wing.

Reidinger is a fast, multi-skilled attackman who has scored two or more goals in a host of games this season. He has found the back of the net by initiating from X or the wing, blowing past his defender, and then firing on the run. Reidinger has also scored via quick catch and dunk goals that are a result of his well-timed off-ball movements. Still, what has been even more impressive than Reidinger's scoring touch in 2026 has been his elite-level distributing. Reidinger's field vision, timing, and polished stick skills have made him one of the best passers in the Ches-Mont League. College coaches will love Reidinger's ability to absorb contact while he patiently probes the opposing defense for a high percentage scoring opportunity. Recently, Reidinger stuffed the stat book with one goal and three assists in a win over West Chester East.

Smith possesses a solid frame, powerful hands, and a quick burst. That trifecta enables Smith to execute clean pick-n-pops and then streak into the offensive end to create scoring chances. Smith also does a remarkable job of winning the clamp and then snapping the rock to one of his wings. Additionally, Smith can win draws via crafty rakes, sweeps, and jams. His ability to fight through chaotic face-off action, then hunt down and secure a loose ball, is impressive, too. This season Smith has also operated as a menacing SSDM where he has excelled at causing turnovers via timely crowbars. Smith's extraordinary efforts in this dual role have helped Cape to a 6-1 record this spring. He was especially effective during Cape's upset of then nationally ranked Bullis (MD).

Throughout the first month of the 2026 season, Quigley has provided a solid offensive punch for SJP. But over his last three games, Quigley has posted an amazing breakout stretch of play. During this impressive stretch of play, Quigley recorded one goal and one assist in a win over Archbishop Ryan and two goals in a victory against Father Judge. Quigley capped off his extraordinary week with a hat trick in SJP's game versus the reigning 3A state champion Springfield. This long and athletic midfielder with a quick burst excels at creating odd-man breaks in transition as well as coming out of the box. In 6v6 action, Quigley can get downhill in a flash and then shoot or distribute while on the run. Quigley's ability to dodge going to his left or his right makes him difficult to guard 1v1. His field vision, high IQ, and stick skills allow Quigley to deliver creative dimes.
