<p>On Monday night, Ches-Mont power Unionville traveled to Downingtown, Pennsylvania, for a matchup with PIAA 2A state title contender Bishop Shanahan. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>In the 1st quarter, Shanahan quickly jumped out to a 3-0 lead. A late 1st quarter goal by Unionville attackman and Marquette signee [player_tooltip player_id='16600' first='Wyatt' last='Kupsey'] triggered two straight tallies by Unionville. Thus, the score was 3-2 at the end of one quarter.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>But that was as close as Unionville would get on Monday night. Shanahan scored five unanswered goals in the 2nd quarter, plus two more to start the 3rd quarter (seven straight overall), and took a commanding 10-2 lead. Included in that scoring blitz by Shanahan was a transition pole goal by LSM [player_tooltip player_id='175789' first='Kieran' last='Bonass'] and a filthy individual effort goal from midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='175792' first='Nick' last='Snyder'].</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>After that string of goals, Shanahan never looked back as they went on to win this contest, 16-5.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->

<p>Below is a review of the players who impressed with their outstanding play during last night's Unionville (PA) at Bishop Shanahan (PA) game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">This fast and shifty attack prospect with polished stick skills registered two goals and an assist last night. That trifecta of assets was evident on his first goal, as Jacoby dodged from X, came straight up the hash, and then fired a rocket into the back of the net. Jacoby displayed a quick release and precise aim on his second goal as he sniped a 15-yarder from up top. His quick first step allowed Jacoby to initiate from anywhere on the field. Jacoby's field vision and timing produced several creative passes last night. College coaches need to scout Jacoby immediately. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700"> Shanahan's defense was extremely focused on stopping Kupsey, but the Marquette signee still registered 2 goals to go along with one assist. His first goal was a beautiful effort where Kupsey dodged from X, turned the corner, and then fired a shot into the back of the net as he crossed GLE. Kupsey's change of direction moves and versatile offensive skill set made him extremely difficult to defend 1v1. He was the recipient of numerous early slides as well as double teams and yet still had a significant impact on this game. The Marquette coaching staff will love the high lacrosse IQ Kupsey displayed last night.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bonass is a fast and athletic LSM who had a major impact at both ends of the field on Monday night. Offensively, Bonass recorded two goals and an assist. Both of his goals came during transition opportunities where his separation speed was extremely evident. His second tally was an extremely impressive play where Bonass scooped up a ground ball off the face off, sprinted down field and then ripped an overhand past the Unionville goalie. At the defensive end, Bonass controlled the middle third of the field for Shanahan. He stopped several Unionville's fast break chances, snagged GBs in traffic, and caused turnovers out on the perimeter.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">On Monday night, this Ursinus commit stuffed the stat book with three goals and three assists. Bracken showed that he owns a multi-dimensional skill set by scoring in a host of different ways. His first goal came on a hustle play where he picked up a ground ball rebound in traffic, charged to the cage, and then deposited the ball into the net. On his second goal, Bracken used a quick burst to get down the right-hand alley and then cranked a shot while on the run. Bracken finished off the hat trick after he used his speed and elusive moves to sweep across the defense and then rip a sidearm shot into the net. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of the major reasons Shanahan was able to post 16 goals during Monday night's victory was the dominating play of Heinerichs at the face off dot. This available 2027 prospect showcased fast hands and polished technique as he went 13-for-19 (68%) against Unionville. Heinerichs routinely executed clean pick-n-pops then sprinted into the offensive end to create scoring chances for Shanahan. He also displayed quickness, grit and an aggressive stick on a handful plays where he chased down ground balls and then secured possession for Shanahan. Heinerichs' ability to deliver precise dimes while running full speed was remarkable.</p>
