Dynan earned the starting job for the season opener and was extremely impressive in SCHA's win over Westtown. This sophomore does a fantastic job of tracking perimeter shooters. Combine that asset with his fast hands and you get a goalie who produces a slew of clean saves on the top side. Dynan's ability to execute quick, but controlled drops to stop low shots is impressive too. He is also adept at executing kicks saves. Dynan's speed and athleticism allow him to race out of his crease and pounce on a loose balls. Those same items enable Dynan to clear the ball himself if needed. At attack, Frischolz is especially effective when he initiates from the wings or the corners, blows past the initial defender and then fires on the run. Of course, Frischolz can also find the back of the net via rips from the low lefty attack spot. His ability to change angles on his shots makes Frischolz impossible to stop at close range. Frischolz's field vision and patience allow him to operate as a feeder from X. The 2027 prospect can sweep around from X for a catch and dunk on the crease too. On defense, Javadpour is a bulldog of a D-middy. His smooth lateral movements and active stick make Javadpour a menacing on-ball defender who frequently causes turnovers. Javadpour's speed and instincts enable him to relentlessly pursuit the ensuing ground ball, pounce on it and then dash into open space. When the opportunity arises, Javadpour will push the rock in transition. Javadpour's change of direction skills allow him to carry the ball deep into the offensive end where he can score or distribute. In 6v6 action, Javadpour can use his quick burst to initiate from anywhere on the field. Earlier this week McCarthy returned to action in grand fashion as he scored an impressive goal in Malvern Prep's season opening 10-8 win over Boys Latin. McCarthy is an agile and solidly built midfielder who can shoot / distribute with both hands. His quick first step combined with his ability to dodge going left or right presents significant matchup issues for defenders. When he is not getting downhill, McCarthy can snipe from the wing or up top. Additionally, McCarthy is a high IQ off-ball player whose timely cuts through the middle of the opposing defense often leads to clean catch and shoot opportunities. McCarthy's incredible field vision makes him a creative passer too. But this 2027 prospect is much more than just a physical presence on defense. Showalter owns the agility, footwork, and instincts to play a finesse style of pole too. He can pursuit ball carriers for long stretches and then use a well-timed poke, lift or overhead to put the ball on the ground. Showalter also has a knack for anticipating passes and then snatching the ball out of the air with his active stick. As a bonus, Showalter is a ground ball machine who can charge into a crowd and then emerge with possession. His positioning skills and aggressive stick work are major reasons for his GB success in traffic.
