Yet, he is still flying under the radar. Hendricks is a quick twitch athlete who can initiate from anywhere in the offensive end. When you combine that burst with Hendricks' filthy stick skills, you get an attackman who is impossible stop 1v1. His ability to cook the initial defender and then ping corners from the perimeter is impressive. Hendricks also excels at dipping underneath his defender and then charging to the net for a scoring chance around the cage. When Hendricks gets in close, his deep bag of finishing moves and ability to shoot with either hand leaves goalies helpless. As a midfielder, Laber does a remarkable job of using his explosive first step to separate from the initial defender and then dash into open space for a crank on the run. Laber's step down shooting from up top as well as on the wing must be respected too. When he runs at attack, Laber is extremely effective when he initiates from X. From behind the net, Laber's ability to cut on a dime enables him to shake his defender so that he can turn the corner and then sweep across the front of the net for a shot. Laber has also demonstrated that he can come around from X and then execute an inside roll for a dunk along the crease. His ability to win clamps cleanly is next level. Plus, Meszaros owns an extensive list of crafty FOGO tricks that he can execute to defeat his opponent and then secure possession. With his well-built frame, Meszaros is capable of dropping to the turf and grinding out a win too. Once Meszaros has the ball in his mesh, he will streak into the offensive end for a goal or an assist. Meszaros' separation speed is an incredible asset. His shifty cuts and elusive stick maneuvers allow Meszaros to maintain possession as he charges through opposing defenses. Those assets combined with Rivera's tracking skills and active stick produce a high percentage of clean saves. Rivera also has knack for making kick saves or using other parts of his body to stop low shots. Rivera has an aggressive style, so he will not hesitate to leave his line in order to cut down shooting angles or to steal a pass intended for the crease area. His poise and quick reflexes enable Rivera to turn away scoring opportunities in close. Once the ball is in his stick, Rivera will execute a smartly placed and precise clearing pass. In 1v1 situations, Southard excels at breaking down and then keeping the ball carrier in front of him for an extended period. His ability to apply constant pressure on a ball carrier's hands is impressive. When the offensive player eventually makes a mistake, Southard will deliver a heavy stick check that causes a turnover. Southard has demonstrated that he can use crafty lifts and pokes to put the ball on the turf too. When the ball hits the ground, Southard's nose for the rock combined with his nifty stick skills enables him to pounce on the GB. Southard will then smartly decide to either leg the ball out himself, fire a clearing pass up field or roll back and distribute to the goalie.
