Pennsylvania Prospects To Scout At Philly HS Challenge

Kitahama is an extremely athletic and versatile prospect who can operate as a two-way midfielder or as an attack. At both midfield and attack, Kitahama is a lethal step-down sniper. His quick release and precise shooting allow Kitahama to ping corners, score off hip and fire bouncers past goalies. The combination of Kitahama's speed and elusive stick maneuvers enables him to initiate from up top or the wing, blow past his defender and then fire while on the run. At attack, Kitahama can destroy an opposing defense with his quick catch and shoots around the crease as well as his ability to score / feed from X. On the lacrosse field, Petaccio is a fast, agile, and physical, long stick midfielder. Those assets combined with his crafty stick skills and instincts make Petaccio a ground ball machine. In open space, in a crowd and on the wing during face offs, Petaccio excels at securing GBs on the first attempt and then smartly moving to open space. If the opportunity presents itself, Petaccio will carry the ball into the offensive end and create a fast break scoring chance. Petaccio has also shown that he will not hesitate to take the body to create a turnover. His quick burst, elusive moves, and ability to play with both hands make Redner a match-up nightmare for opponents. Redner is especially effective when he initiates from the wing, sweeps across the opposing defense, and then rips on the move. This quick twitch athlete can also operate at X where his ability to change directions multiple times allows him to lose his defender and then streak around the corner for scoring opportunity in close. Redner is an incredibly accurate shooter, so if he gets his hands free at either low attack spot, it is game over for the goalie. One skill that is often overlooked with Redner is his timely passing. Because of his scoring prowess, Redner is the frequent recipient of double teams as well as early slides. He first caught our eye last summer at Naptown where he helped Mad Dog capture the 2028 division title. Tremblay is a natural lefty, but he can shoot and distribute with either hand. The trifecta of Tremblay's imposing size, speed and polished stick skills is unique among 2028 prospects. He thrives in transition where Tremblay can race past opposing players or run through them on his way into the offensive end. Tremblay's ability to crank one into the back of the net while running full speed is impressive. In 6v6 action, Tremblay can use his quick burst to cook the initial defender and then run through stick checks on his way to the cage. Or he can bully a defender until he gets to his spots. What pops immediately about Woodmansee is his off-ball wizardry. Woodmansee is master at cutting, drifting, or slipping into open space for a clean catch and shoot opportunities. He excels at sweeping from X into the crease area, then receiving a pass and finishing in close. Woodmansee's deep bag of finishing moves, and poise make him impossible to stop along the crease. Woodmansee is also fantastic in two-man game action. His ability to shoot accurately with both hands is noteworthy too.
