One of the more athletic goalies still on the market is “Ki” Ellison from Mad Dog. His athleticism is obvious when he's out of the cage. He handles the ball well, doesn't put himself in bad spots, and makes smart reads in the clear. Inside the cage, his footwork stands out. He seals off the pipe when shooters get near GLE, then moves efficiently when the ball swings with no wasted motion. He's solid across the board, but he really shines on low shots, sprawling out to make big-time saves like this reel. Every team needs a goalie who can erase mistakes; Ellison can do that.

Chubs Slater is an entertaining goalie to watch. He's a true athlete who makes big-time plays when his team needs them most. He's fast on runouts, throws dimes on long outlets, and comes up with highlight saves. In tight, he has quick hands and the willingness to throw his body into shots. While his aggressive style can lead to rebounds, he makes up for it with his ability to track down loose balls, win foot races to the end line, and handle the ball out of the crease. He's also quick to pop back up and make a second save. Slater's confidence playing beyond the crease sets him apart and makes him one of the more dynamic goalies still on the board.

Sachin Nanavati is a goalie still on the board who will make one program very happy when they land him. His demeanor and stance are alike—both calm and confident. He stands relaxed, hands straight up and steady, never overloading or fidgeting in the cage. When he's square to shooters, it's a tough day for anyone trying to score. Nanavati reads the ball early off the stick and reacts quickly.Another strength of his is clearing the ball. He gets it out smoothly, quickly, and accurately. Nanavati's poise and consistency make him the kind of goalie every coach wants anchoring their defense.

One of the goalies who made some real “wow” saves at the Terrapin Classic was Baccaro. The one that stuck out most came against Team Ten—he stuffed a crease dive that looked destined for the back of the net. In tight, he naturally baits shooters high, then explodes up to the ball when they take it. From range, he'll lower his stance as shooters wind up, staying compact and balanced. Laterally, he's clean—no wasted steps, no false movements. In the clearing game, he's sharp. He sparks transition with quick, accurate outlets that hit teammates in stride. Every game, he finds a way to steal one or two goals, and that's what separates him.

Waligowski looked sharp at the Terrapin Classic, coming up with tough saves and clean outlets against Philadelphia Freedom and The Hill Academy. He plays out of an athletic stance with a wide base, tight hands, and a compact setup. He's strong both five-hole and off-stick, and he resets his feet well without any wasted motion, staying locked in on shooters. In the clearing game, he puts the ball on a rope and makes smart reads through rides. He'll even steal a possession or two, jumping skip passes or sprinting out shots to keep the ball in his team's hands. He doesn't try to do too much, just makes the saves and gets his team going the other way.

Brandt Widmer, the St. Mary's and ProStart product, has the tools to play at the next level. At 6'0”, he fills up the cage and cuts off angles near the goal line. He plays with high, tight hands, and his reaction speed stands out. Widmer reads shooters well and finds ways to make stops—even the unorthodox ones. He's not afraid to use a higher arc, and it works for him. On clears, he wastes no time. His outlets are compact, quick, and on target. Widmer's size, instincts, and quick hands make him a name college coaches should be tracking.
