Thus, on the rare occasion where he does not win the clamp cleanly and streak into the offensive end, Boree can drop to the turf and grind out a win with his physicality. In addition to his size, another item that pops about this face off specialist is his non-stop motor. Boree simply refuses to concede a win to his opponent and will relentlessly pursue the ball until he has secured possession. His active stick, quick feet and nose for the ball enable Boree to emerge from those scrums with the ball. Boree has also displayed the ability to mix-up his exit strategies which keeps opponents off balance. As a bonus to his face off skills, Boree can shoot or distribute with either hand while at a full sprint.

Flipped from Fairfield to Georgetown…

The Hoyas have secured a verbal commitment from this extraordinary athlete who is a 3-sport standout at Episcopal Academy but will PG to join Georgetown's 2027 class. On the lacrosse field Brickman is a versatile pole with the speed, stick skills and physicality to play LSM or close defense. The trifecta of Brockman's active stick, polished footwork and quick reflexes make him an on-ball menace. He will not hesitate to press out all the way to the midfield line on a ball carrier. Once he has created a turnover, Brickman will snatch up the ground ball and sprint down field for a transition opportunity. At close defense, Brickman's high IQ and anticipation skills produce effective slides and double teams. On the back end, Brickman has also displayed a knack for disrupting passing / shooting lanes with his stick. Plus, Brickman owns the agility and discipline to lock off the opposing team's No. 1 option for an entire game.

Flipped from Bucknell to Richmond...

Richmond's coaching staff managed to flip one of the most decorated FOGOs on Long Island. Goldberg was the Face Off Academy Showcase National Champion, the Face Off MVP at The Show 2026 and a member of New York's I-95 Cup team. Goldberg's quick hands and textbook mechanics allow him to consistently win clamps and trigger fast break opportunities. Once Goldberg gets downhill, he really shines, because his ability to fire on net or distribute to an open teammate while on the run is exceptional. His polished stick skills and ability to play with both hands produces creative finishes as well as crowd pleasing assists. Goldberg owns a high IQ, so he has a tremendous feel for when to shoot or pass and never holds the ball too long. When things get chaotic at the dot, Goldberg does and impressive job of using his solid frame to hold off his opponent until he can scoop up the ground ball.

Flipped from Sacred Heart to Richmond...

This long, athletic, and agile SSDM is a fantastic addition by Richmond. Knoebel is an extremely aggressive on-ball defender who can take the ball away via forceful stick checks or by taking the body. His size advantage enables him to overpower ball carriers via timely crowbars too. Knoebel's active stick and quick feet make him a ground ball machine. His speed and change of direction skills enable him to go coast-to coast for a shot or to drop a dime on a teammate. As a team defender, Knoebel executes double teams, slides and recoveries at the highest level. During his impressive junior campaign, Knoebel helped push Valor to a runner-up finish in the 5A state tournament and was a 1st Team All-Class 5A League selection. This past summer, Knoebel was invited to participate in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program combine.

Flipped from Delaware to Penn State...

During his outstanding 2025 season for Malvern Prep Laskowski carved out a reputation for himself as one of the top 2026 SSDMs in the state of Pennsylvania. Then this past summer, Laskowski proved he could operate as a fast and agile two-way midfielder. In short, Penn State recently added a prospect who should have a solid impact on the program. Laskowski is a fleet footed and gritty athlete with elite defensive as well as ground ball skills. The Penn State coaching staff will love Laskowski's ability to stay glued to his man despite multiple changes of direction. He can pursue a ball carrier for long stretches before creating a turnover via fierce stick checks or crafty pokes and lifts. After he has scooped up the resulting GB, Laskowski will sprint into the offensive end to create odd man scoring opportunities. When he gets the chance to operate in settled action, Laskowski can get downhill from up top as well as the wing and then shoot or pass on the run. His precise over hands and side arms often find the back of the net.
