When he initiates from the wing, Armenta can sweep across the top of the opposing defense until he finds open space for a rip. He can also get to the middle of the field, stop on dime, roll back to his right hand, and then crank one into the back of the net. Armenta owns excellent field vision which makes him a threat to distribute on the run too. This freshman can operate as a high level LSM or close defender. At both of those positions, Chilean's active stick and non-stop motor make him a ground ball machine. Once Chilean has secured possession, he can move the ball up field via a smartly placed clearing pass or run the ball out of the defensive zone himself. Chilean' combination of physicality and forceful stick checks make him a fantastic 1v1 defender in space. In close, his high IQ, communication skills and field awareness enable Chilean to stay connected with his teammates to create a stingy defensive unit. His poise as well his polished mechanics are well beyond his years. College coaches will love his ability to rapidly move post-to-post or high to low while remaining under control. That skill set combined with his patience and fast hands enables Feldmaier to frequently deny shooters at close range. Feldmaier's tracking skills and understanding of cutting down angles produce a high percentage of clean saves on long distance shots too. Once the ball is in his stick, Feldmaier will trigger fast break with precise clearing passes. At 6-foot-4 and 190-pounds Lamberson looks like a man among boys on the field. Combine that imposing size with elite speed and impressive stick skills as well as a nasty streak and you get a 2029 with unlimited upside. At LSM or close defense, Lamberson tortures opposing offensive players with his heavy stick checks and ability to take the body. He can also play a finesse style of defense and run with a ball carrier on the perimeter until a crafty poke or lift puts that ball on the turf. Lamberson is quick to pounce on those GBs and then lead a transition opportunity. On the fast break, Lamberson is a freight train with elusive stick handles. Once he is below the restraining line, Lamberson is a legitimate threat to crank a shot into the back of the net. As he dashes into the offensive end, Reinig is a threat to score or distribute. His ability to absorb significant contact and still advance the ball into the offensive end is impressive. Reinig also does a tremendous job of winning the clamp and then snapping the ball to his wings for an easy possession. When needed, Reinig can also muck it up at the face off dot. In those scenarios, the trifecta of his powerful hands, quick reactions and agility allows Reinig to find the ball in a scrum and then secure possession.
