In late August, we unveiled the Class of 2027 Top 100, with nearly every player having earned at least one evaluation block from a Prep Lacrosse scout. After breaking down the attackmen and midfielders yesterday, we're wrapping things up today with a face-off specialist and a trio of defenders, all of whom recently announced their respective commitments.

Earlier this week, the West Chester (Pa.) native announced his decision to stay in-state with Penn State. It's another blue-chip defensive pickup for the Nittany Lions, who are stockpiling elite talent in the '25 and '26 classes. Dodia has enjoyed a stellar past six months, earning second-team All-State honors for Sallies before carrying that momentum into an impressive summer. His basketball background shows in his standout footwork and positioning, and he thrives in transition with the ability to push the pace. A natural ballhawk, he piles up interceptions and knockdowns, and he's just as likely to put the ball on the turf with an Instagram-worthy takeaway check.

Boston University landed a steal in Pasquale, who announced his commitment over the weekend after a terrific summer. Few players have a better knack for being around the ball and making plays, and Pasquale thrives in that role. Small but sturdy, the California native is tenacious and disruptive, never hesitating to deliver a body blow or a precise, well-timed check. He's incredibly smooth off the ground, and his advanced stick skills make him quite an asset in both the clearing game and transition. Pasquale checks a lot of boxes, and with two more years at Culver to sharpen his game against elite coaching and competition, he's only going to keep ascending.

Ranked No. 3 among face-off specialists, Quenault might be the most well-rounded of the group — and it wouldn't be surprising if he emerged as the top dog in a few years. At 6'1 and 170 pounds, he possesses a tall, wiry frame with outstanding hand speed and a refined handle once the ball is in his stick, the skill that truly separates him from the pack. Always a threat in transition, he makes sound decisions and has the ability to swing momentum when he pushes into the offensive zone. As a sophomore, Quenault split reps with a Cornell commit and swent 74-for-114 (65%), adding two goals and an assist. He'll follow a long line of Delbarton grads in South Bend.

This recent Tar Heel commit has been highlighted here a handful of times for his prowess at Lawrenceville (and at Don Bosco as a '26), but he's beyond deserving of a full eval block. To start, St. Pierre is the kind of defender who may not necessarily wow you right away, other than his 6'2 frame. However, his game is easier and easier to appreciate the more you watch him. He's more athletic than people think, and his defensive IQ is exceptional, so he's a great air traffic controller down low and awesome away from the ball. Covering No. 2's for the Big Red in 2025 and passing those tests with flying colors, he'll step into an even larger role next spring.
