are a dangerous one-two punch at the X for the Green Wave, with both also having the ability to kickstart the offense and handle the rock under pressure. The Notre Dame commit was polled at the X a couple of times by Summit and handled it well with quick hands and poise. The Leading Edge product is capable of winning the draw in any direction, and when the ball is loose, he shows his physicality and lower body strength to box out and gain position on his matchup. With how large the deficit was, Quenault wasn’t seen at all in the final quarter, but was a big reason why the Green Wave were able to get out to their early lead and build off of that.

Quenault was unstoppable in this matchup as he finished perfect on the day, winning all 13 attempts at the X and making it look easy against Glen Ridge junior FOGO Rory Winnick. He stayed aggressive off the whistle, displaying quick reaction time and the ability to control the ball and pop it out in any direction, while also utilizing his wings when needed. When he did not win it clean, the Notre Dame commit used his 6-foot frame and lower-body strength to box out his matchup for possession. He looked to be a threat offensively, registering one shot that was off-target, but he did not put the ball in turnover scenarios. Instead, he made good decisions with the rock and let his offense control the ball and the clock. It will be fun to watch Quenault’s progression through the year for Delbarton.

Ranked No. 3 among face-off specialists, Quenault might be the most well-rounded of the group — and it wouldn’t be surprising if he emerged as the top dog in a few years. At 6’1 and 170 pounds, he possesses a tall, wiry frame with outstanding hand speed and a refined handle once the ball is in his stick, the skill that truly separates him from the pack. Always a threat in transition, he makes sound decisions and has the ability to swing momentum when he pushes into the offensive zone. As a sophomore, Quenault split reps with a Cornell commit and swent 74-for-114 (65%), adding two goals and an assist. He’ll follow a long line of Delbarton grads in South Bend.
