Below is a review of prospects who posted an incredible stretch of play during summer 2025 and thus increased their recruiting stock significantly.

Belski is a two-way mid who had an enormous impact at both ends of the field this summer. On defense, the combination of Belski's grit and speed made life miserable for opposing offensive players. When he was on-the-ball, Belski turned his opponent multiple times before dishing out a powerful stick check or crowbar that jarred the ball loose. Belski was also a ground ball machine in traffic or on the wing during face-offs. His ability to scoop up GBs and then race down field enabled Belski to push the break for goals and assists. In settled action, Belski proved he could dodge going left or right and finish with both hands. Plus, he created for teammates by getting downhill, drawing a slide, and then moving the ball to an open teammate. Offensively, Belski is just scratching the surface of his potential.

This lefty was already a highly regarded 2027 prospect, but this summer Colsey took his game to another level and his recruiting stock followed. Colsey's ability to receive a pass on the wing or GLE area and then quickly fire into the back of the net was extraordinary. There was no wasted movement in his shot, and he pulled the trigger from numerous angles. Colsey was also effective at scoring on the move. He was extremely lethal operating from X where his quick burst and shake enabled him to cook defenders and then score as he turned the corner. Plus, Colsey attacked the cage from the wing with a quick inside hitch or stutter step move, followed by a dash into open space for a rip. His creative passing skills flashed this summer too. We expect Colsey will be a popular man on September 1st.

From the ML8 Summer National Championships to NHSLS to the club circuit, this dynamic LSM turned heads with his ability to impact all phases of the game. Mendez's athleticism, speed, stick skills, footwork and high IQ enabled him to thrive as a perimeter defender or drop down and play at close. From either position, Mendez generated turnovers via checks and lifts as well as by disrupting passing lanes with his stick. Mendez was an incredible presence on face-offs too. He knifed in from the wing to snag GBs and then pushed the ball in transition. Once Mendez penetrated the offensive end, he was a legitimate threat to crank as shot into the net. His offensive skills and composure while possessing the rock were unique among LSMs.

This three-sport athlete (also plays football and basketball) is a long, fast, and skilled midfielder who posted an outstanding summer. Included in Reger's fantastic stretch of play during June and July was the IL Summer Cup, where he led 3D Upstate to a 5-0 record and was named the offensive MVP. He also was a standout performer at the New Balance All-America tournament and the NILLY Invitational. Reger can get downhill in a hurry, run through stick checks, and then finish overhand, with a sidearm crank or a BTB. With his speed and elusive moves, Reger blew past defenders this summer in transition as well as in 6 on 6 action. He frequently executed beautiful swim dodges to elude defenders and find open space. Reger's field vision and unselfish nature produce a slew of Instagram worthy assists too. As a bonus to his offensive skills, Reger proved that when needed, he could work as a physical SSDM.

Woods is a Canadian prospect with filthy stick skills and a creative offensive mind. His deep bag of spins, jukes and shakes combined with his quick burst made Woods impossible to defend this summer. Woods was able to use those assets to generate offense on the run from anywhere in the offensive end. Still, what this lefty really thrived at was unleashing rockets from the wing. Woods displayed a tremendous ability to find open space, get his feet set as well as his stick ready and then execute a catch and shoot in a flash. His ability to fire shots from every angle was impressive too. Occasionally, Woods would execute a deceptive inside hitch and then blow past the initial defender for a closer attempt. When he was double teamed or drew a slide, Woods smartly moved the ball to an open teammate. This summer Woods also flashed the ability to operate from X as well as midfield.
