The second quarter was where the Lehigh commit first got on the board and cashed in on a pair of man-up goals. The Friars ran a wheel where Breslin stepped into the low righty shooting spot. On the first goal, the Flyers failed to rotate and Breslin had time and room, firing a low-to-low laser to the far pipe. On the second goal, Chaminade was just a second late on the rotation and Breslin made them pay again. This time, he showed his ability to change planes and went low-to-high. Breslin added two more goals in the 4th quarter, with one coming in transition and the other coming on a dunk to put the icing on the cake for the final goal. Breslin stepped up in a big way all year to help St. Anthony's continue its dominance.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["14516"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The Flyers needed Ball to have a big game in order to have a chance at pulling the upset. The junior FOGO did all he could and was red-hot in the first three quarters, winning 10-of-13. He faced two extremely talented faceoff specialists from St Anthony's and still thrived. Plenty of his wins were clean, and he did an excellent job taking care of the ball after winning possessions for his team. He had a perfect third quarter, which helped Chaminade be even with the Friars for the majority of that quarter. Ball showed his ability to grab contested ground balls, have successful counters, and win it clean and forward to create offense all in that quarter.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["14914"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Vardaro was a big reason why the Friars were able to shut down Chaminade's offense once again. He set the tone right away with a caused turnover on the opening possession. And Vardaro physically dominated his matchup. There was no leaning into Vardaro, as his strength and positioning were too much to handle. After getting beat once for an impressive goal, he made sure it wouldn't happen again. His on-ball defending was as good as it gets and he was a lockdown defender for the majority of the game. Vardaro got help from [player_tooltip player_id='14538' first='Parker' last='McDonald'], [player_tooltip player_id='14845' first='Tommy' last='Snyder'], and the rest of a Friar defense that was on the same page all game.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["15509"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"The senior attackman has quietly had a great season and he performed well in Tuesday's championship. A lot of attention is on [player_tooltip player_id='15268' first='Quinn' last='Langton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='14954' first='Luke' last='Breslin'], but Riglietti stepped up. Early in the contest, Riglietti scored the first goal when multiple defenders slid to [player_tooltip player_id='14540' first='Gary' last='Merrill'] and Riglietti did a good job of sneaking upfield and finishing around the goalie for an easy tally. He would then assist the second goal for the Friars to take a 2-0 lead. After the Friars forced the Flyers' defense to slide, Riglietti did a great job at X by catching the ball while drifting to the opposite pipe. He then kept his head up and found a cutting [player_tooltip player_id='16391' first='Charlie' last='Cacciabaudo'] for the catch and finish. He added another goal late and assisted [player_tooltip player_id='15268' first='Quinn' last='Langton'] on a transition goal.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["15084"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"The goalie play on both sides was really impressive in this one. Caputo stepped up in a huge way for the Flyers. He came away with 13 saves and gave his team so much momentum throughout this contest. St. Anthony's was getting plenty of opportunities which included hard shots from good spots. But Caputo was ready for it he registered some timely saves to keep this game close for a while. On such a big stage, he was very poised. He had an incredible save on the doorstep late in the first half to keep the deficit to two goals. Chaminade's offense ended up scoring on the next possession to gain momentum and only trailed by one at the half. The Iona coaching staff has to be thrilled with how well Caputo and St. Anthony's attackman [player_tooltip player_id='15509' first='Jake' last='Riglietti'] fared.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["15383"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"The Utah-bound senior has put together some great games, and this contest was no different. Forde stepped up and made 12 saves after facing 18 shots on goal. Forde has proven all year that he's difficult to beat anywhere. He was ready for high heat in this one, as he made some key saves off stick high. In the fourth quarter, Forde stood tall and made some important saves to keep the Friars ahead. With just over five minutes to go, Chaminade was down by three and desperately needed a goal. Off a spin dodge, a low laser was fired from around seven yards, and Forde ended up making a huge save to keep the Flyers off the board. The Friars immediately went down and scored to run away with the win and another state title.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":6,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d2ba096d9d"} /-->
