is a lefty with good ball instincts & incredible hand-eye coordination. Rawson finishes with snappy shots in tight, on the run, or with his feet set. Ted dodges with a full head of steam down the alley & can pass with pinpoint accuracy. Rawson consistently hitches to increase his angle or take the extra step to greatness. Off-ball Ted looks to have a hockey or box presence where he’s trusted to be open even with a guy on his back. A consensus 4-star prospect. Verbally committed to Syracuse.

Helping the Big Red to a second straight finish in the No. 1 spot, the talented lefty Canadian broke through for a massive 31-goal, 18-assist junior season after seeing minimal minutes as a sophomore. A hard downhill dodger who is dangerous on sweeps, Rawson converted on over 35 percent of the shots he took and was constantly putting pressure on defenses against an absolutely loaded schedule. He doesn’t need the ball in order to be successful, as Rawson is excellent without the ball, often sealing and picking to create open looks for his teammates.

Rawson had two goals in the first quarter for the Big Red. While he didn’t the back of the net the rest of the day, his presence was felt on every possession. Playing against a zone, Rawson got to show off some of the box background that makes him such a difficult cover. Inside, he’d flash to the smallest bit of open area and get a feed he could handle for a shot. He’d push the ball into areas that would force a rotation or collapse the Deerfield zone, opening up space for teammates. He scored on a nice feed inside that he caught with no almost no angle, but snapped off a shot behind his back that perfectly hit the low far corner. Off the ball, Rawson was simply open all the time, even if players were nearby. If his hands were free, he was open.
