A versatile player who knows how to initiate from all areas of the field, West was a 40-plus point scorer for the Shamrocks this past season as a senior. While dangerous all over the field, West was often at his best when operating from up top. A strong 1v1 dodger, he was often able to exploit his matchup and get downhill for the score. West also possesses a good deal of range as he helped stretch opposing defenses.

The senior midfielder showcases a good amount of quickness and shooting range within his style of play and skillset. West continued a strong start to his season on Wednesday night, as he recorded a hat trick against the Tigers. All three of his scores came similarly, with West beating his man and being able to get time and room for the score. Often playing both ways, West was just as impressive with his hustle and ability as a defender on the other end of the field. His second score of the day might’ve been his most impactful, as he triggered the Tigers’ five-goal third quarter run that helped them pull back into the game.
