After coming off of a long soccer season, Pellito looked like he played with increased confidence this fall, having diversified his skill set to score in more ways than he could last season. In November, he picked up All-Tournament honors at the IL Fall Cup and scored a few goals when I watched the Saints at NHSLS later in the month. Unassuming yet fiery and opportunistic, his speed and high energy are noteworthy components of his game. He consistently scores on sweeps and stepdown chances, darts through the teeth of defenses on the way to the rack, and even mix in some inverts. Pellito would be well served to throw his fall highlight reel on YouTube to show his improvement.
