Jewell is a multi-sport athlete who is also a highly decorated wrestler. On the lacrosse field, Jewell operates as a fleet footed, intelligent and gritty two-way midfielder. Defensively, Jewell is a tenacious on-ball presence who does a fantastic job of getting into offensive players early in their dodge. He can cause turnovers by taking the body or via a timely crowbar. Jewell also has a knack for barreling into a loose ball scrum and coming out with possession. On offense, Jewell thrives in transition where he can finish or distribute at full speed. In 6v6 action, Jewell’s has ability to change directions multiple times in the same run until he finds open space for a shot. During those attacks on the cage, Jewell also does a solid job of keeping his head up and then feeding to open teammates. Jewell is a natural lefty, but he can shoot and distribute with both hands.
