Expert Analysis
Kyle Devitte | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Physically, Simonson can dominate his matchups one-on-one. He has the kind of size and quickness that can catch any longpole off guard. If they approach too aggressively, he slips past; if they don’t come out fast enough, he’s quickly hitching to a higher spit to get this shot off. Simonson is also excellent off-ball and knows how to make the ball blast out of his stick. Unfortunately, he’s been behind the No. 1 player in the country on the right side of this 3d NE team, so his reps have come in relief and at midfield. However, Simonson is in line to be a top option for Milton Academy in the spring.
